As a nation, the United States of America has a deep-seated and abiding connection to guns. Embedded into the seams of American society since the early days, guns remain gratifications for countless of Americans. Whether for hunting, sports shooting or personal protection, most gun owners count the right to bear arms as central to their freedom. Coupled with, the results of gun-related violence have shaken the nation to its core, and disputes over gun policy remain piercingly polarized. The backlash from the public is to be expected if gun production and availability are drastically reduced. Many will seek alternative ways to obtain a gun, whether from other countries that are home to major terrorist organizations or from the black market, making America exceedingly variable. If the authorities were to eliminate guns altogether this alone would significantly affect America by giving people a reason; to try and rise up against the government, attempt to overthrow authority, place distrust in between government and lead to the reconsideration of governments power/authenticity. This is why America, as a nation, needs to assemble and sacrifice our wants to better society making way for a better future.Whether that be taking guns away or putting forth laws and reducing the automatic gun production available to the public.
