In Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of Macbeth the main character Macbeth is driven from his status as a well respected warrior and lord of not one, but two Scottish regions to a dishonest, unloyal murderer. Macbeth gets caught in a web of lies and vile acts of murder in which he brings about his own demise. His criminal actions lead up to his tragic ending of life. ‘ They have tied me to a stake; I cannot fly, But bearlike I must fight the course.’ His great ambition and gullibility of the witches predictions are two of the biggest factors of his downfall;however, Lady Macbeth was probably the biggest influence in the whole tragedy.
This whole idea of female dominance directly challenges the Chain of Beings and as a result, exemplified Lady Macbeth’s importance as Shakespeare’s device to cause fascination amongst audiences. It also shows explicitly her influence on the main character Macbeth and hence the state of the entire play.

Lady Macbeth goes about as a person of evil motives and actions throughout the play. She is included strongly in Macbeth's issues to verify that he does what is important for him to become. Leave all the rest to me " (I.V.69-71). In act 2 Macbeth should get a sword instead of a title. Macbeth should have the sword because he was a warrior and won two battles on the opposite sides of the country. “Is this a dagger which I see before me” (Shakespeare 49). Instead of a floating dagger Macbeth can polish his new sword from the generous king Duncan. Duncan should give Banquo the title Thane of Cawdor because he had as much of a hand wining the war as Macbeth. Banquo getting a hug is not enough for such a worthy soldier that is why he should have the title. The king should also give Banquo for his son a pair of shows so he can run faster if needed. Lady Macbeth needs Nyquil after all, she complains of never sleeping and its annoying the whole kingdom. With Lady Macbeth
