Have you ever thought of anything artistic hidden inside you?
I knew someone who had this artistic mind from the day she was born but it all begun in a weirdest way. When she was in preschool she surprised her family of her uniqueness and this uniqueness includes hiding herself inside the room, sometimes finding herself inside a cabinet and what she was doing was just imagining things which do not exist. It was then noticed by her mom when she was five that her actions were no normal for a kid of her age. So from that very day her mother kept an eye on her and never a chance that her mom would leave her by herself because obviously it scares the whole family. Her family then decided to give her something that would divert her thoughts into something more productive.

Therefore the art not only mirrors the world, but also represents it, gives it an expression.
Feelings and emotions in real life have different colouring, both negative and positive. Emotions in art are always positive.
Emotions in art have social implications, and they always have something in common with the original feelings experienced by every human being, so an artist never experiences merely a simple emotion, but rather a kind of a general social feeling.

These are the images she recently did when her heart was filled with joy and she is always looking forward on the upcoming stories to tell. She is hoping that there will be no closing of doors and no more hiding. Now, the story of this girl is not yet done because this is just one her journey. As of the moment the art inside her continues to build dreams for her reality and when I look at the mirror I see this girl looking at
It is a picture of Sherman bent down and looking up. She has both of her hands down with a whit collard shirt on. Sherman is looking up with brown short wet hair. Her whole background is dark, while the light is specifically on her. It looks as if she is terrified. She is playing the role of the scream queen in the movie King Kong and Dorothy from the Wizard of oz. I honestly do not understand how this artwork demonstrates the roles that Sherman are playing. When I looked at the picture and read the title, I interpreted she was scared and has been hurt before. She got her heart broke and discovered that true love is only in fairy tales, however, her fairytale was a disaster. This was not the meaning of the photo at all. According to The Art Story website, “By freezing the image into a kind of sorry, secular icon, Sherman demonstrates how art may act as a visual "truth serum," a force of social change by way of its ability to stop a viewer in his/her tracks and suggest how certain assumptions are culturally inherited, not necessarily
People express their emotions, creativity, and imagination through art. Emotions sometimes are understood better by words and drawing, for example, Paul Cezanne paints to express himself. One of his works is the basket of apples, which shows a table with a basket of apples on it and the apples are falling on the table. Cezanne is trying to get in people’s imagination, he wants people to look at his panting in a different way then normal. The panting uses many line, space, and texture.
Influence plays a major role in the lives of all artists. Whether it is a painter, musician, or author, if they hadn’t been influenced in some way, their work would be nowhere near as compelling as it is. What shines through in the work of any artist is emotion; if art was without emotion it’s pretty inevitable that it would not draw so large an audience. In fact, without emotion or influence, art would have an almost scientific feel to it. It is because of the individual influences on the artists life that we as humans are so attracted to various forms of art.
Human emotions remain as one of the world’s biggest secrets. Like sleep, we know what happens to our body when we experience these emotions whether it be a release of hormones or a certain area on the body becomes more sensitive. But we don’t know why we have them, experience them, or what purpose they serve. All we know is everyone’s emotions behave differently. Different types of arts can elicit completely different emotional response from people. Some art may have the ability to appeal to dangerous emotions in certain people. Whether it be the corruption of a once faithful and beautiful young girl, plagued by the desire for romanticism and lofty ideas, or a handsome young nobleman who is obsessed with living life to fullest. Both are fueled by the emotion that a certain type of art elicits in them, leaving them in a never ending chase that ruins there life’s. In the Novels Madame Bovary and The Picture of Dorian Grey the protagonists in these stories perfectly exemplifies the danger of arts emotional appeal by showing the corruption and eventual downfall of two once young and beautiful souls by exposing them to art that pleases dangerous emotions such as desire, pleasure, entitlement and disappointment.
“Universal Aspects of Symbolic Healing: A Theoretical Synthesis” (James Dow) outlines treatment and healing techniques among diverse cultures which Dow labels “Symbolic healing.” This article is well structured and neatly organized. While he is concise with the information there are some portions that felt lacking. He has a solid introduction; emphasizing key concepts he will be addressing (Religious healing, Shamanism, and Western Psychotherapy). Dow uses strong citations to back up his ideas and line of information. However, some concepts are intermixed for comparison. Causing the reader to get lost in specific areas of information, and prevented a clear grasp on the information.
Emotions are a critical part of our daily lives. We can go through many emotions throughout the day. My work revolves around emotions, whether it is an emotion I’m trying to invoke in the viewer or an emotion I was feeling while creating the artwork.
Individuals I intend on treating will likely have limited or no medical coverage. Additionally, they will likely have little trust in doctors, likely due from previous experiences. I feel osteopathic medicine is an excellent choice given my interest in underserved communities. I feel having additional medical tools like osteopathic manipulative therapy, additional nutritional education, and being taught in an environment that develops interpersonal skills will be a benefit to all patients. Incorporating a self-healing philosophy hinged on patient education, which promotes positive lifestyle changes will be centralized in my practice. Educating patients not only helps fight the current ailments, but it decreases the likelihood that others
All over the world, art is used to represent many things, especially the artist's imagination
I am intrigued by the way that artists reflect their emotion by the use of colour. Therefore I have decided to focus on Picasso, Soutine and Matisse. I am going to delve into their frame of mind and attempt to unpick their emotions and link them to how each artist expresses that feeling by using a specific palette of colour. I am fascinated by how the chosen artists may go through similar emotions but reflect these emotions in a completely different way through personal connotations to colour. For example Picasso goes through many periods but one of his main periods was the blue period where he uses blue to link to the fact that he is depressed. This relationship between the artist’s deeper feelings and how they portray this through the expression of colour will be the main focus of this essay. I will use specific
Ulcers that are complicated by bleeding require endoscopy diagnosis of the lesion (Lew, 2009). Healing should also be documented by endoscopy after the 12 weeks of antisecretory therapy (usually PPIs) to document healing. Goals of treatment for PUD are to (1) eradicate H. pylori, (2) heal any ulcers, (3) manage or prevent complications such as GI bleeding or the development of gastric carcinoma, (4) prevent relapse, and (5) reduce or eliminate symptoms (Lew, 2009). Meeting these goals require both lifestyle modification and drug therapy. In this case, TJ needs to have a small frequent meals and decrease the consumption of spices, alcohol, caffeine, and fruit juices. Dietary changes should be directed at those substances that cause his
Everybody has their own way in expressing their emotion in their artwork, rather it is difficult for some or not. Either the use dark colors or bright to express the type of feeling the character they are making. With dark colors they can either be sad and confused, or mad and serious and they can even be happy and funny.
Art is meant to make someone feel something. Artists can convey emotions through their art. However, what happens when the emotion that is conveyed in anger, sadness, or grief. This creates controversy in art. I believe that the painting Myra, by Marcus Harvey creates a feeling of anger and sadness within its viewers that creates controversy. This controversy comes from the events behind this painting but also the way the artist, Marcus Harvey, painted it.
Recent studies on psychology have allowed us to understand how individuals perceive and experience art. Although the psychology of art dating back before the 1600’s has been studied to an extent, psychologist have yet to truly understand contemporary art. The intentions of this research paper is to shed light on just some of the methodologies and connections contemporary artists may use in their work, and importantly, just how viewers interpret these details on a neurological and psychological scale. Several popular studies have been cited to explore various topics such as an artist’s style, name, the objects, colors and typography they choose to implement within their works and why.
