Pine County is a fairly small county located between the Twin Cities and Duluth. Pine County has a population of 31,532 as of now. In 2000, the population was 26,530. So, Pine County’s population is slowly growing. The population gets denser toward the south. This is because the south is closer to the cities. Also, the county seat is further to the south. The county seat, Pine City, has a population of 3,064. Rock Creek is south east of Pine City and has a population of 1,593. Other cities with a population greater than 1,000 include Sandstone and Hinckley. It is proven on my population pyramid that women live longer than men. This could have to do with many things. If a person is smaller, their heart doesn’t have to pump as much as a person who is taller. So, women are typically smaller than men and are less likely to have a heart attack. The birth rate slowly raised during 2008-2010. Pine County’s birth rate ratio is 9.8:1000. This number is lower that the Minnesota ratio of 12.9:1000. This could be because Pine County is a smaller county the counties like Hennepin County. Because Pine COunty is smaller, some people may disagree with others and that could cause the birth rate to be lower. Pine County citizens have many different ways they die. Some of these include: they are overweight, obese, smoke, drink, and have hypertension. The most common risk factor in Pine County is people being overweight. About 39% of the deaths in Pine County has something to do with them being overweight. Also, the amount of people in Pine County is about 2% higher than that of other counties in
Swain County is a small rural community with a population of 14,717. 24% is made up of children ages 0-19, while another 25% is people 60 or older. The Community has a small tax base as 70% of our county is Federal land or Park. Swain County
Dyer County and the towns that comprise it all have a rich history, and each town in the county has its own beginnings that have resulted in how they are today. Dyer County currently encompasses the three major towns of Dyersburg, Newbern, Trimble, and their surrounding villages. The following will give brief histories of the major towns of Dyer County, the development of industry, and the history of some of the smaller regions of the county, including my home area of Bonicord.
Johnson County is home to a population of approximately 139,654 people. The counties that make up the 9th District include: Brown, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Johnson, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, Scott, and Washington. The population in 2000 was an estimated 675,599 with a drastic increase in 2010 to an estimated 729,076 people. The 9th Districts economy is focused on manufacturing and agriculture. “Among our employers are pharmaceutical and medical device companies like Cook Medical and Baxter in Bloomington; nationally recognized commercial agricultural producers like Tyson Foods in Corydon and Rose Acre Farms in Seymour…and military installations like Camp Atterbury and Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center (Representing).”
Merrimack County is located in New Hampshire, and has a total population of 146,880, which makes it the third largest county in the state by population. The county was organized in 1823, comprised of parts of Hillsborough and Rockingham counties, and is named after the Merrimack River. Merrimack county has a total of two cities and twenty-six towns, in addition the capital city, Concord is also found with this county (About Merrimack County, 2015). Mission Televisions services fit very well within this selected county and the market within it. Due to a variety of demographic factors, for example, age, income, and education, as well as several psychographic factors, Merrimack County shows strong promise when it comes to the success of the companies’ services. Because of strong data and promising findings Mission Television feels that Merrimack County will be a great location to provide satellite televisions services to the population.
Figure 4 shows that Bothell and Woodinville have fertility rates within 191-254 births per 1000 women and 255-317 births per 1000 women. Table 4 indicates a maximum of 397 births per 1000 women. Compared to native born women who have lower maximum of 185 births per 1000 women, showed in Table 5. Also, the fertility rates of foreign born women are also high across the southwest region of King County. Places like Kent, Federal Way, and Des Moines.
Lane County is the 4th largest county in Oregon by population, and was established in 1851. (Oregon Historical County Records Guide, n.d.). Historically, timber and agriculture had had been the primary economical force in Lane County. Productive farming in the area is due to the very fertile soil and moderate climate. Federal regulations associated with timber harvesting and increased population has decreased the agricultural market.
The community where the fieldwork was performed is Allen County, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Allen County is located in the Northeast corner of Indiana and is the second largest city in the state with an area size of 110.6 square miles in which Fort Wayne has a population size of 258,522. Fort Wayne is known for the three rivers that run through the city, which are the St. Joseph and St. Mary’s river that converge into the Maumee River. Additionally, Allen County has the largest Burmese population in the U.S. making this an ethnically diverse community. In addition, there are many different religions ranging from Seven Day Adventist to Muslim to Catholics to Baptists as well as Lutherans to name a few. A few of the Lutheran and

Sexism puts a barrier on what society views as acceptable for a man and woman to do. It also may be true that men and women are not necessarily equal physically. Men are scientifically proven are stronger than women physically in terms of muscles and athletic ability. “Men are physically stronger than women, who have, on the average, less total muscle mass, to the total body mass and men also have denser, stronger bones, tendons and ligaments” (Burton, 2012).
