Prelude- Belleluxe- 1632 I am Rose Marseille. I live in Belleluxe, a tiny city with many rich people within it. One of the rich families is my family, the Marseille’s. There’s Mr. Jacob Marseille (father), Mrs. Mary Marseille (Mother); and my siblings, William (15), Daisy (10), Charles (7), May (1), and Me (13). Along with the arrogant Kellies; Lola and Lela (14), James (27), and John (16). The sweet Scherbaums, and many others. However, there are unfortunately many poor people too. Such as the gentle Gleasons, the helpful Hennrikus’, and the wonderful Wendermans. My friends are Grace Gleason; Haley (16), Hannah(15), Hattie(14), and Hallie (13) Hennrikus; and Winifred Wenderman. Haley, Hannah, Hattie, and Hallie have a brother named Henry (14). Winifred has three brothers named Walter (15), Warren (13), and Wilson (10). Chapter One- Friday Snoring sounds echoed throughout the room. Rose, the oldest daughter from the Marseille household, fell asleep in her private French class again. “Rose, wake up!” whispered my sister, Daisy. “Yeah,” said Charles, the youngest, and not to mention the smallest child of the five (after the baby). “Young lady, if you snore any louder, you’ll frighten Japan!” Explained Mr. Mazzola, the French teacher. “Je suis désolé, Monsieur Mazzola.” I said, my cheeks glowing like the color of a rose, embarrassed. “C'est d'accord, Mademoiselle Rose.” Mr. Mazzola replied. Later that day, Daisy and I went to visit Mrs. Clemons, the head cook. “Hello, Mrs. Clemons!” I exclaimed. “Well, if it isn’t the Marseille girls!” she exclaimed. “How are you doing today?” I asked. “Good, merci!” She replied. “De rien!” I said, a big smile on my face. “Do you have any pastries we could ‘taste test’? Daisy asked, the little she- devil she can be. “Yes, actually. I just took out a fresh tray of Macarons for you two to try!” “Yay!” Daisy yelled! While we were eating the macarons, Daisy said we have a knitting and sewing class with Madame Cary. Then have a cooking class with Madame Clemons. Then have a reading and math class with our brothers and Monsieur Scherbaum. Then last, we have an etiquette class with our brothers and Mademoiselle Sherrina. Such a long
I rolled my eyes. “That’s what you told us last night, only with the breadsticks at La Cucina,”
Unlike The Glass Castle, author Jeanette Walls, it is not difficult for me to talk about my family history. It is easy for me simply because I was lucky enough and never experienced the hardships that Jeannette and her family went through. My full name is Ana Torres and I was born on October 21, 2000. I was born in Manila, Philippines but migrated to San Diego, California at a young age of 7. I am the youngest out of three kids. I have an older brother named Miguel who is 23 years old this year. He joined the Navy and is currently in Virginia. He wears glasses, has short hair, and likes to dress up like a hype-beast. He is also stubby, hard-headed, and likes to pull pranks. Lastly, I have an older sister named Camille who is currently 21 years old. She joined the Air Force after college and is currently stationed in Germany. She is also super short just like my brother and I.
I’m just a girl from a small town called Dale, South Carolina. I grew up here most of my life but I’ve been back and forth to North Carolina. I currently live in Burton, South Carolina now still with my parents and other three siblings. As a child, I was troubled. I grew up as a preacher’s kid it runs in the family. I hardly missed a Sunday of church but that still didn’t stop me from acting up in school. I knew better then to act the way I did but I always had to prove myself to somebody. I was always named a bully because of my size even before somebody took the time to get to know me I guess that’s the life I chose. I live with both my mom and dad, plus my 3 siblings. I have 4 siblings total but I only see my other sister on my dad’s side
“Yeah, sure.” She called the waitress over and straightened herself in her seat. “Could we get two glühweins, please?”
On February 28, 1998 at 11:50 p.m. a baby was born in Moultrie, Georgia. Who was that baby you might ask, well that baby was me. At three pounds and four ounces, and almost a leap year baby I was born into the world as Iesha Monika Williams. I was the first child to parents, and the only girl as the time went on. Even though I was born in Moultrie, Georgia I was raised in Thomasville, Georgia and have been here ever since. I have two younger brothers, the ages of sixteen and seven, name Trey and Jamari. I have a puppy name seven or seven-eleven, he answers to both. I also have two parrots name pinky and binky.
"Well today all that is going to change!" I laugh. "How have you never had funnel cake!"
I am Dominica Ramsey, born January 2nd, 1997 to Clyde and Delores Ramsey. I have a younger sister named Claudia Ramsey, who is a year and eight months younger than me. In relation to my character I have always been the same kind, independent, responsible, respectful, loud and outgoing when comfortable, and shy and reserved when not. I was raised in a Christian household my mom is a minister and my dad is an elder, so my sister and I practically stayed in the church; my favorite books were Ruth and Ester, however, my favorite story was of Samson and Delilah. In the church, is where I met my childhood friends; we would pretend to be the Cheetah Girls, the Power Puff Girls, and cheerleaders. Throughout elementary and intermediate school, I enjoyed
Her mother, or so she imagined, was gentle with a set of blue eyes and red hair. Maddox was awfully marvelous at making a cherry pie so it became Georgiana’s favorite. She herself was a short fourth grader, just extending past the little kid stage, and exhibited her thankful nature every day. She had never heard of her father, yet longed to wonder why she did not have one. This thought occured, once she became mature. Georgiana also pondered that she had no other relatives that she had met. She was quite timid to ask Maddox, her mother, why this was so, and therefore it never happened.
After Percival spent a few more moments drinking and chatting with his friends, he and Rion bid the men a good night, and slipped back into their chamber. Deena and Ida must have finished nursing, because Fleur lay back with her eyes closed. The babies were swaddled in their cradle, quiet for the moment. However, Percival realized while one cradle was fine for the girls while they were so tiny, he would need a second one
“Yes. Now why don’t you go in the kitchen and fix us a couple of your awarding winning Rubin sandwiches and I’ll go get the cards.”
"Yup, it sure was," he says over his shoulder as he takes another tray of rolls out of the oven.
On June 15th, 2002, the Sloan family welcomed their third child and first girl, me. I have two older brothers, Andrew and Ian. While I was growing up, I picked up a lot of their habits and tried my best to mimic every little thing they did, helping me learn. I watched as they went to school, played sports, and typed on the computer, wishing I could be big and strong like they were. My parents would often find me trailing after one of them or sitting at the computer trying to figure out how to make the keys work.
I love my large family of my mom, dad, brother and 5 sisters. They’re names are Pierre (31), Paris (29), Paige (22), Pia (15), Phelan (12) and Paxton (11). My mom had a thing for names starting with P if you can tell. Each of us have talents that make us unique. Every kid in our family is known for something, Pierre is known for basketball, Paris is known for fashion, Paige
