The United States prison system is considered today to be one of the most flawed and corrupt systems of the modern world. Given this fact, it is unsurprising that one of the most talked about issues in the US today is prison reform. Prison reform is a phrase which refers to the attempt to improve conditions inside prisons, establishing a more effective penal system, or implementing alternatives to incarceration. The US has spent the past twenty years gradually working to improve its prisons, and even recently strives to better the federal and state prison system as a whole. One of the main goals of prison reform is reducing recidivism, which is the chance of an incarcerated person re-offending. One of the main ways to do this is to give inmates ways to spend their time that will better them and prepare them to re-enter society as a fully productive, rehabilitated citizen. Many states have now revisited their policies on sentencing and release. That in turn has brought about some sweeping changes in how prisons content with parole and good behavior releases. Many states like Texas have gone as far as even increasing the grant rates for parole while shortening the terms of many of those that are given probation. These types of moves are one contributing factor in Texas being one state that has been able to reduce its overall prison populations for the past three years. Just a few years ago, late night shows were a way for celebrities to promote their new movie, TV series, or music. The host would just conduct light-hearted interviews and harmless, interactive games. Jimmy Kimmel has had guests read hate tweets; James Corden has sang karaoke while driving guest stars; Jimmy Fallon has competed in lip sync battles against guests; SNL has invited guests to temporarily replace Pandora. Now, instead of simple comedy, some hosts are injecting political commentary in their news updates and monologues. Over the last year, late night television ratings have shifted.

The viewpoint of the political cartoon is that no one takes Al Gore seriously. The word serious is in the cartoon and AL Gore is dressed as a penguin, which is funny. The cartoon is horatian because Al Gore dressed in a penguin suit is humorous. The content creator used sarcasm and caricature in the cartoon. The sarcastic part of the cartoon is Obama asking us to take global warming seriously. Caricature is used by Al Gore dressed as a penguin.

Do you like the NSA spicing on you 24/7 without you even knowing? If you answer no, then Person of Interest is a must watch show. Person of Interest, created by J.J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan, is about Harold Finch (a software genius) and John Reese (an ex-CIA agent) trying to stop the U.S. government or possibly other governments from spicing on the American people. The TV show is grounded in reality, the overarching story expands to new heights, and it is not afraid to kill off important characters and bring in new ones. The television show is not terrified to change up its formula to better suit its solution.

The typical classic rock documentary tends to focus on the musicians and what being a part of the band did to them individually. However, This is Spinal Tap is like no other rock documentary. Through its use of satirical devise such as Exaggeration, Parody, and warped logic This is Spinal Tap follows a band on their American tour, one of the lowest points in their careers. It not only satirizes the typical rock band of the time but it also ridicules American culture at the time.

Now about the new trailer for HTGAWM season 2, it is looking more provocative and even more mind boggling. Annalise was seen saying the line, "Now that you've done this, you're a monster!" She was referring to someone that the camera didn't show. Season 1's finale was indeed quite a cliffhanger and it is only a must that its viewers watch its upcoming premiere where it would reveal who it was who killed Rebecca.
