Thank you, Tammy, for providing us your thought and belief. I believe that the idea of not using particular terms to describe particular behavior is not just to avoid the negative feelings, but also to help the teacher create support to the students. If the child behavior labeled, the teacher will see the student as a “problem”. By seeing the child as a “problem” according to Kluth (2010) The teacher “would not have created so many adaptations for him, they would not have given him so much time to learn about his surroundings, and they would not have made such significant adjustments to their own expectations or practices” (p.190). So, if you see the Table. 9.1. in Kluth article page 194, you will see how is the language is matter. As we describe

The goal of parole is to reduce recidivism and help rehabilitate offenders. That is not always the case; offenders will reoffend anyways and be sent back to prison to finish out their sentence. There are many programs out there that try to help parolees become a part of the community again and stay out of trouble. The programs are out there; it is up to the parolees to join them and stay committed. The programs goals are to help the offenders reintegrate into society by using procedures and community resources.
To identify, a project idea based on my work and personal life will involve motivating my sister in having a healthier diet. By way of example, I will encourage her in eating more fruits and vegetables to strengthen her immune system and lower her blood pressure. Additionally, motivating her to a healthier eating habit will not only help her wellbeing but strength my abilities as a care provider. Considering that, her diet now consists of high sodium foods such as ramen noodles and fast food, she has been more restless and stressed. Henceforth, this project will build her health and offer her the opportunity to feel more energized, lower blood pressure, and even having more strength to practice walking with her leg braces versus her wheelchair.
Depression is a mental health issue that is commonly caused by a upsetting event and can’t be controlled easily as it takes a while to overcome
For my first assignment, I interviewed Dawn VanderZwan, which is a fourth year criminal justice student in the UFV. Through our communication, I collected some information about her academic goals, workplace experiences and personal life.
“There are only patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns that affect other patterns. Patterns hidden by patterns. Patterns within patterns. If you watch close, history does nothing but repeat itself. What we call chaos is just patterns we haven't recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can't decipher. What we can't understand we call nonsense. What we can't read we call gibberish. There is no free will. There are no variables.(Palahniuk, Charles).” This quote indeed can be implied in our everyday lives, but I think that it is very much relatable to what goes on in our country, our government tactics and even the catastrophes that happened in America. However some would
Fear can be anything, fear of the dark, thieves, monsters, dogs, hight, being stuck in a place, snakes, deaths, anything. As long as it chases you in your deepest nightmares and make you wake up shaking and sweating terrified, but also relieved that is over. But all these fears have a reason. For example Salamanca's fear of a pregnant women, it's probably because her mother was expecting a baby but he died. The fear of elevators is because she lived in a farm and she is definitely not used to elevators. Sal is also terrified of car accident because that was the cause of her mother's death. Unlike many people Salamanca is not afraid of spiders, snakes and wasps, that is because she is a country
For confidentiality, I will use pseudonyms for the students I chose to profile. The first student I chose was Emma. When I began my field experience in February, Emma had just started third grade at Washington Elementary. She was from a well-educated family and was said to have been homeschooled. Emma was intriguing to me, because academically she was very behind and barely knew how to spell, use conventions and struggled to read and write. She was very sweet, but it was evident she was timid, which was probably due to being new as well as behind academically. The second student I chose is Connor. Connor was a very sweet student, but at times struggled in school. One of the main reasons why I chose Connor was because he reminded me of how my

I believe that my product was a success and would make a difference in the cold weather in the winter. This product may be able to save lives or at least will save them from the cold. This problem relates to my problem statement because there are so many people out there that have no homes and if I could replicate my product a hundred times this problem would just about be fixed but I don't have enough money to do that.
While reading through your response on the readings assigned for week #2, I felt you did great at explaining the details and examples for the terms that were introduced in week two assignment. For instinct when you gave the example of Ariel Castro and how he was arrested for kidnapping 3 young women in Cleveland while trying to explain teleological being based upon ones goals and consequences. While Deontological theories being more duty based where it was based off of the action instead of the consequence. So it focus on the right or wrong of the action not the right and wrong of the consequences.
As it applies to an IT environment, a vulnerability assessment is used to identify existing vulnerabilities giving the environment owner an awareness of what needs to be fixed (Who needs a Vulnerability Assessment, 2017). The assessment needs to be viewed for what it is, a onetime occurrence that in no way highlights all vulnerabilities. Multiple assessments of vulnerability must be conducted over time to ensure that as many possible avenues of weakness are explored, identified, and marked for improvement. As new systems are added, programs changed, or other changes to the system are made vulnerabilities might be created.
