Satisfactory Essays

Policing refers to regulation, control, keeping peace by police officers. There are two styles of keeping order known as proactive and reactive forms (Reisig and Kane 2014). Reactive policing refers to the way police react to particular requests from people in the community which include patrolling and waiting to point a crime to get a remedy and immediate response to calls for help from people in the community.
