The year of 2016 is the year of comic-book-hero movie adaptations. We already had Deadpool, Batman v Superman: the Dawn of Justice, and we are waiting for Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse, and so more. They are dominating the world box office, fighting crimes, saving the world. They are a symbol of hope, peace, and justice. This is what our heroes should be, but are they a real heroes in this world? Is the real hero have a bat mobile? Do they have the healing factor? Can they stop a thousand of terrorists with an outnumbered? The answers is no. We do not have an ability to fly, heal, or shoot a web. We cannot be a hero like in the movie, but it does not mean we are not hero. If that is real, then, how can we define hero? What qualify …show more content…

They rise up against crime or injustice in their society. We can see these figures throughout world history. Many people rose up to stop their opponent. Many people had been recognized by majority. For example, Mahatma Gandhi, the activist leader of the Indian independence against British Empire both in his home country and South Africa. He formed a non-violent organization, which later in favor of Indian people. Throughout the period of protesting, he never picked up weapon and fought for freedom. Instead, he boycotted British products, and made they own. We can see how he was and hero, and still he is a hero. This is what the real hero should be. They are dedicate, scarify, and inspire people to follow him or her without fighting and using violent as a weapon. There are thousands of hero who have been written down in a book, such as Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, and their legacies are passing on from generation to …show more content…

Some hero, they decided that they will become one. Some heroes, they did not want to be, but voices of innocence cried that they cannot resist. The question that follows is that can we an ordinary people who are not solider, police, or do not have political power, or a strong willingness to change a society be a hero. The answer is absolutely yes. We are all hero from the chef that cook a chicken shawarma, to Uber drivers, to reception at hotel entrance. We are serving society by doing our daily duty, and moving the country to better tomorrow for the next generation. The hero figures we have seen from our first memory are our parents. They scarify at least 15 years to raise their children. They still spend the rest of their lives to look after us, even though we don’t notice that. It does not require any special talent for typical human being to capable as hero. We only need to rise and do something that benefit just the people around ourselves. Many heroes started just hoping for a better tomorrow. Some heroes went down in history as a historical figures. Some might not know by majority, but their footsteps and legacies are big enough for people to carry on. We wish for Batman, Iron Man, or Spider-man to help us, but in the reality we must help each other, and fighting for a brighter
