He formed a non-violent organization, which later in favor of Indian people. Throughout the period of protesting, he never picked up weapon and fought for freedom. Some hero, they decided that they will become one. Some heroes, they did not want to be, but voices of innocence cried that they cannot resist. The question that follows is that can we an ordinary people who are not solider, police, or do not have political power, or a strong willingness to change a society be a hero. The answer is absolutely yes. We are all hero from the chef that cook a chicken shawarma, to Uber drivers, to reception at hotel entrance. We are serving society by doing our daily duty, and moving the country to better tomorrow for the next generation. The hero figures we have seen from our first memory are our parents. They scarify at least 15 years to raise their children. They still spend the rest of their lives to look after us, even though we don’t notice that. It does not require any special talent for typical human being to capable as hero. We only need to rise and do something that benefit just the people around ourselves. Many heroes started just hoping for a better tomorrow. Some heroes went down in history as a historical figures. Some might not know by majority, but their footsteps and legacies are big enough for people to carry on. We wish for Batman, Iron Man, or Spider-man to help us, but in the reality we must help each other, and fighting for a brighter
A hero is simply, someone that shows courage and bravery to persevere through hardships. For example, a hero shows great acts of strength and determination to continue in the face of difficulty. The action that a hero demonstrates, is what causes recognition and appreciation. A hero takes action for a cause that they feel strongly about. For instance, if someone was bullying another kid, and someone who was watching from the outside, decided to stand up for what they believe in, that person who acted upon the bully would be considered a hero. The person took action for what they believe in, and didn’t just sit there and let the kid get bullied. In other words, a hero can be anyone that demonstrates skill and determination to stand up for what they believe in. Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks are two examples of people who acted upon a cause they felt strongly about.
Everyone has their own idea of what a hero is and what a hero does. Most people think that guys like superman and batman are heroes because they have incredible superpowers and they are famous people who receive glory. Many people describe heroes as strong and indestructible people, however, heroes are actually not always famous and they are not always the way that society portrays them. In fact, most heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things and have notable traits for society to follow. Although heroes are mostly overlooked or misinterpreted by many people, a hero is always a courageous, selfless, and persistent person who has the determination to create change for the better.
Heroes bring hope to people and countries by bringing support and supplies to those in need. As seen by all the examples, a hero is not someone who thinks about themselves but someone who does things that they believe are right and are admired or idealized for their
Heroes do what's right, even if they put themselves in danger. For example, in everyday life, people like firemen, paramedics and soldiers risk their lives for the common people every day. Heroes are willing to give something up for the greater good of others.
Anyone who influences anyone else by saving or helping save his or her lives can be a hero. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the lives of millions of people by bringing justice to minorities. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest heroes, led a nonviolent revolution to free his country. Even a parent can be a hero to his or her child by leading them in the right direction. All teachers are heroes when they make it their job to teach a child anything that will help them in life. You don’t have to go to great lengths by risking your life to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Ricky Martin once said, “Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Ghandi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.” Almost anyone can be a hero, as long as they have the courage and the maturity to understand and respect those who they attempt to help. Despite the fact that a hero cannot save everyone, being heroic is about placing others before oneself and strive to help those who need it the most.
When people think of a hero, they do not understand you don't need to be just like superman, you don't need to be able to fly, or be immortal and never die. There is no need to wear a mask, save the world, or have special powers. To me, any regular person can become a hero in their own way. I believe a hero can be found in any piece of literature, most main characters are all heroes, but they are all heroes in a different way. To me, in order to be a hero, all you need to do is put someone else's life in front of your own, if you can change someone else's life you can then call yourself a hero. Aristotle once said that a tragic hero is "one who does not fall into misfortune though vice or depravity, but falls because of some mistake".
“I want to be Batman.” That is a typical response from a preschooler if they are asked what they want to be when they grow up. However, heroes are not always wearing capes. They can simply be an Indian man that changed his mindset into something more inspirational. There is one thing that Superman and a policeman have in common. They are both heroes. No matter how different the fields are, they are brave, helpful, and hardworking. A hero can be someone known for courageous achievements. They are normally men, but can be women too. Heroes come in many different ways. Some characteristics of a hero are someone who has enormous courage, strength, and knowledge. They usually have a big effect on people’s life and are pretty well known. A hero is also known for helping people and not doing it out of revenge. They must have a good heart because they are putting themselves at risk for others. The people need to have trust in him because he is putting their life on the line, so they cannot be evil. A true hero isn’t perfect. They have disagreements and bad days, but the motivation to get back up and help day after day is definitely a true hero. Being a hero is tiring, because being a hero is not a one-time thing, so one cannot just do something good for a day and call themself heroes. Being a hero means loving what you do. It means getting up in the morning, ready to help people in any way possible, everyday. Mohandas Gandhi is a hero because he was helpful, had leadership and
What is a hero? Philip Zimbardo, in his article Transforming Society by Teaching Everyday People the Characteristics of a Modern Hero states it best “a hero displays certain characteristics such as integrity, compassion, and moral courage, heightened by an understanding of the power of the situational forces, an enhanced social awareness, and an abiding commitment to social action.” The term hero is commonly thought as someone with super powers. While yes, the comic book characters are heroes in the sense they fight crime, stop villains, and save the day with their charming character and super powers. The heroes that are mentioned ordinary people. They are people with great influence in their communities; such as Chris Long of the Philadelphia Eagles, and his stand for better education in the cities he has played. Malala Yousafzai
“I think we all do heroic things, but hero is not a noun, it’s a verb.” Said Robert Downey Jr. If people saved the day with superpowers and knew how to fly then yes that’s a hero. But we don’t live in a comic book or fairy tale. Heroism is about everyday people who are helpful, caring, and never cowardly.
Heros can people regular people with normal abilities. To really be considered a hero, one must prove it. Bob Riley once said, “Hard times don't create heroes. It is during the hard times when the 'hero' within us is revealed.”
Everyone has the chance to be a hero at anytime during their lives. It's their actions and what they do that could lead them to becoming a Hero. They could battle for righteousness, honesty, or justice against forces of evil. Whether they are a hero in a book or in our society they have the qualities that make him or her the proper person to reach his or her goal. To illustrate, in the classic American novel To Kill a Mockingbird Atticus Finch is the hero due to his qualities and determination.
Becoming a hero is something we have all wanted to do, whether it is to earn a certain reward or to make one feel good about ourselves. In the time of the Western World, this was the case all throughout the eras. There were three eras covered during this time period: the Classical Era, the Medieval Era, and the Early Modern Era. The ability to contribute your time into the one whom you are trying to impress is what made one a hero in the Western World because you prove that you are fully interested in earning their trust in you.
In our life we always need someone super hero to help us in difficult situations but this is not just happened in fairy tales also in real life. We have seen ,listened and read a lot of heroes and their stories such as in television, radio and books. According to Oxford Dictionary, hero is defined as" a person who has good act, noble achievements and great qualities."This word comes from Latin . Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie who believed in their duty to help poor people underprivileged, and sick people .The hero demonstrates humanitarian and giving generosity without waiting a give back from others.
Heroes have many goals and many challenges, but whether they are successful or not is a whole different story. Always trying their best to achieve their certain goal and risking to help others is what heroes live for. For example, during the attacks of 9/11, boat drivers such as were rescuing people from the island of Manhattan in New York. There were thousands upon thousands of people, but with enough support, the boat drivers were able to rescue everybody. Vincent Ardolino, one of the boat drivers during the 9/11 boatlift, said in the documentary “Boatlift” that he tells his children to “never go through life saying you should have. If you want to do something, do it.” This mindset is what all heroes should adopt for the future. These people may not have the most difficult job in the world, but they carry out small challenges with a lot of passion. Likewise, were the heroes during Hurricane Harvey and Irma, two very devastating Hurricanes that have costed the USA many lives. Many people from outside of the area have done countless things to help like rescue people with their boats, donate money, and help rebuild. Many of these heroes have risked their lives and struggled on for the greater good.
