As every summer break comes to the bitter end there is always the one thing is around the cover, school. And with every school year that passes by high schoolers are assigned new classes and periods but for the majority, one thing they can always count on is study hall. Study hall is a short period in between classes where you can get school announcements, catch up on homework, study for a upcoming test, or give yourself a break from the hustle and bustle that takes place during the school day. Many students enjoy this period for extra time on projects/homework or to give their mind a break for a small time. Although students enjoy it, some people believe it is a waste of time that could be spent on classes. I argue that it is a essential time for students to help improve their overall learning and grades.
The last place that I worked was Ruby Tuesday. Ruby Tuesdays was really fun to work at. The atmosphere was amazing and so were the workers. We all had one goal at the store and that was to ensure the best customer service to our guest. Daily as a team we prepped things before the store opened just to ensure that everything would look nice. Me as a hostess when I had to open the store used to have to walk around to make sure the closing hostess did her job and make sure that nothing was dusty and everything was set properly.
According to Texas myth carpetbaggers were taking over positons in office, and dominating politically. These carpetbaggers migrated from the north, and they supported the Republican party. Democrats were upset with carpetbaggers coming to Texas, and described them exploitive and corrupt. These individuals were known as carpetbaggers because they brought everything they had in a soft suitcase made of carpet. These carpetbaggers were seen as something negative that only brought bad energy to Texas, and did nothing to benefit us. Democrats also described them as someone who could not be trusted.

Shortly after Seau’s death, researchers examined Seau’s brain and found that it contained a disease known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy which is formed

One of the worst experiences I have ever had was to attend Mardi Gras in 1994. This feeling is not due to the floats, parties, decorations or food and drink, rather it was due to the lack of space between me and other people. I was caught within a living organism which was made up of tens of thousands of people all located within a very few narrow streets in New Orleans. The amorphous body of which I was but a small component forced body to body contact from all directions with no ability to prevent or control the situation.
Parading on the outskirts of Mobile while dressed up as a Chickasaw chief is how one man became an important factor in the history of Mobile, Alabama, in the mid 1800’s. Now, a day set aside for this man, parades with floats, beads, moonpies, and loud music remind Mobilians of their favorite time of the year, Mardi Gras. The carnival celebration of Mardi Gras has played a big role in the history of the southern cities Mobile, Alabama, and New Orleans, Louisiana, but the history that everyone believes about the carnival and the people that have contributed to it is not always as true as it seems.

The festival of Mardi Gras came to North America from Paris, where it had been commended following the Middle Ages. Realizing that the day, March 3, was being commended as a significant occasion in France, they initiated the site Point du Mardi Gras.

The following day, Coates returned to work with her notepad full of notes that she’d collected after studying Reno’s Facebook page. They’d been told that he and Savannah were madly in love, the next power couple, and had been dating for two years. They’d seen how he comforted Darlene, Savannah’s mother, at the crime scene. Coates’ experience had taught her that nothing is what it seems and Reno’s Facebook page corroborated her skills.

In the United States, starting salaries for teachers who have completed a four-year degree are far lower compared to many other professions, which also require a four-year degree. In most states, teachers must undergo testing and other rigorous certification requirements, but they are given the same consideration or status as beginning professionals in other areas. Although attractive incentives are offered, the compensation does not compare to the long hours of work and schooling required for a teaching career.
