The hypothesis for this project is “ If the Effect of Preference of Colored Plates is green then, the Amount of Cookies Eaten will increase.” This project is based on the statement that a red plate can warn the conscious to not eat the substance that is on that plate. The science fair project is going to try to show that statement to be right. The project is interesting because of the science behind the statement; that a person’s conscious could relate a red plate to a stop sign, which is also red. The person’s conscious would then think of what to do at a stop sign and then, would feel cautious about eating what is on the plate. On the site http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/29/health/seeing-red/, CNN talks about a study/ project preformed by scientists that explains that you would “lose weight” if you have say- red plates, the red plate would resemble a stop sign in your mind, telling your mind to stop or think about what you are eating. The project begins with the examiners give volunteers a choice of food between chocolate/hand cream and popcorn. The procedures for this project is to first, put on the plastic gloves. Second, place the Colored plates on a table with cookies. Third, have the records (pencil and paper) ready. The fourth step is to have people take just one cookie. The fifth and final step is to replace each cookie taken with another one so that the plates have the same amount. Count up the tallies when
