The judicial system from the Renaissance period and today's are completely different. The system has been adapted to suit today's standards. One of the most extreme ruler of the Renaissance was Queen Elizabeth I of England. Queen Elizabeth was such a cruel and powerful ruler that there a stretch of time from the Renaissance that was named after her called the " Elizabethan Era".
