The Renaissance was a time that has truly affected the way we see the world today. This was a time of beauty and was also the birth of a civilized society. This time has definitely sparked the beginning of education through books, science and arts. Still today we study books in order to educate ourselves about the sciences and arts. The Renaissance has clearly shaped parts of society in which we see and admire today. The Renaissance was a time of change that was heavily influenced by the alteration of education, science and arts.
Education was obviously affected plenty by the evolution of humanity. Before the Renaissance occurred education was particularly poor because of the lack of books and time. There was such a lack of books and education because of the cost and time it took to create books to educate the citizens. Meaning that people were not fully educated. In medieval times science wasn't thought of much as people did not have a good understanding of anatomy,astronomy or medicine. As the Renaissance was born and the printing press was made, more people were becoming educated in anatomy or science. An increase in knowledge about anatomy, which was the study of the human body was from observing dissection.This truly sparked a new “era” of medicine. This new “era” of medicine obviously helped many who were sick and lead away from defective methods such as bloodletting. Also the study of astronomy was increasing rapidly as thinkers like Copernicus or Kepler were making theories that suggested that the earth wasn't the center of the universe. The Renaissance, which is French for the word “rebirth” or “revival”, was the cultural bloom for Europe. Before this era, life was an everyday battle, facing warfare, poverty, and disease. Starting in around 1400 C.E and lasting until about 1700 C.E, the Renaissance brought about new philosophies, lifestyles, and ideas that changed the world forever. The Renaissance changed the way people saw the world and their place in it by focusing more on education and decreasing religion’s importance.
The Renaissance was a period in history that began in Italy dating back to around the 1300s. It followed The Middle Ages and was considered a time of “rebirth”. The people of Europe increased much interest in learning, in the arts and in literature. It also provided the world with a big advancement in science and technology. People questioned old beliefs and were able to turn their miseries into optimism. The Renaissance changed man’s view of man in at least four areas: art, literature, astronomy, and anatomy.

The Renaissance was the period of advances in the fields of arts, culture, philosophy, humanism, science and economy. The invention of the printing press helped spread literacy and made ancient texts, which were previously only available in Latin or Greek, that the common person didn’t know, available in languages that people could understand. The Renaissance’s Humanism ideas made everybody question previously accepted knowledge which eventually lead to the scientific revolution.
This was a really big factor for the writer and scholars in the renaissance times. The invention of the Printing press was made during this time and it helped them spread their books and plays across the world rapidly. There is one extremely famous writer during this time and his name was hakespeare. In document B you see two great excerpts of play write, one by Shakespeare (Hamlet)and the other by an unknown author(everyman). These writings show how man's view on man changed throughout the renaissance era.
The logic and principles of medieval medicine shaped those of Modern medicine. Never was there a more efficient method perfected, so much that it remained through history through so many hundreds of years. Today’s concepts of diagnosis, relationships with the church, anatomy, surgery, hospitals and training, and public health were established in the Middle Ages.
While the renaissance period of history is long over, it dramatically impacted the modern world. Some of the great discoveries in science, developments in the arts, architecture, and humanism took place during this period of history. The results had major impacts on politics at that time as well into the future. The renaissance left both positive and negative influences on the world as we know it.

The renaissance was a period of broadening knowledge. It was a time of rebirth in human existence, a time of new discoveries. It was an era in which the feudal system declined, invention and application of: paper, printing, the mariner’s compass, and gunpowder began. The Renaissance was a revival of classical art.
