You can’t have a temper and you have to be a good judge of character. You really have to have an eye for detail and constantly be on your toes. You have to be somebody that really helps people out. When my class had those career classes there was always somebody from law enforcement talking there. I do still remember what one Sheriff talked about Sheriff's job and I kind of liked it right away. I went home and did some research on Sheriff's Department and I liked what I saw. Now, years have passed and I still do have passion for this job, to serve the country. I have been living in the City since my birth, never been in country-side actually and now I feel this is the oppurtunity to widen my knowledge about Red County. I want to become a cop because I have always been around cops growing up, I would always skateboard on private property. I was always dealing with cops in not such a good way, but one time I was skating at the bandshell in Clear Lake, IA which is private property.
