Justin and Ricky are friends with Danesia and Casey. Theses four are the common group that I constantly get complaints about. Danesia is confrontational to the more timid workers and the word bully is often associated with her. Danesia works closing often which is with mostly Justin or Rick and they often leave her in charge. Because she has a bad work ethic and she bullies some of the workers, it has caused a couple of girls to quit and a few to look for alternative jobs because they are only available to work at night and she along with Ricky and Justin are their main problems. When I brought this problem to Cheryl she told me that they(the workers) are only mad because she tells them what to do. Danesia herself is not an good example
However, for this schoolyear, I was put in a group with three other students, Emma, Mia, and Lucy, who do not share my same beliefs and experiences. Emma is involved in a variety of activities including numerous AP classes. As a result, she has trouble with her time commitment and I knew from the start, working with her might be a challenge; however, I hoped for the best since she usually tries to commit to her schoolwork. Mia is involved in with the spirit team, and she dedicates a lot of her time to both the team and to her job. Despite her busy schedule, she is in the top five percent of the class and hopes that this class with be an easy GPA boost. Lucy is on the volleyball team, and even though it is time consuming she prioritizes school before her other activities. Both Lucy and I are in the class because of our interest in science and the possibility for a future career. School has always been my priority and my
The author of "The Cruelest Journey" and the speaker of "The Journey" express the story's mood by using imagery. Both of these have imagery to show problems throughout. In The Cruelest Journey, Salak mentions and writes how it was, and the challenges she faced on her journey. She uses imagery to convey the struggles that she had to put up with while on the journey. For example, in the text, Salak says, " A screech of pain, but this is no time nor place for an injury, which displays how Salak had to keep going for her to beat the river, and make it to Timbuktu.

Pennhurst was the heart of the “Human Rights Movement” that revolutionized America’s approach to health care for mentally and physically handicapped. . I am interested in this topic because I feel like I can relate to the main character, Jodee and what she goes through. 3. The purpose of reading this book is to understand what it is like to be bullied, an outcast and the effects of getting picked on and shut out. People, especially teenagers, should read this book to understand what kids go through, and what they could be doing to their fellow peers and how bad it really is to be bullied.

I decided to talk to them and explain that they should feel comfortable to voice their concerns and work out conflicts and differences in opinion in a respectful manner. I went over examples of positive and negative interactions they had with their friends and with each other, always emphasizing the positive interactions. We would have discussions of how they should handle a situation better. I told them that I expected them to treat each other with respect, just like they treat their friends. I also warned them that there would be consequences for their behavior. I have also developed a rotation system where they took turns choosing a channel on TV, which games to play, and any other activity with
(Topic sentence) Kids get bullied everyday and sometimes there is no one to stand up for them. (Background information) One example is Jamie Nabozny, who is a 7th grader attending Ashland Middle School in Wisconsin. He is bullied almost everyday for being gay. While growing up it is easy to believe a lot of things but there are somethings that a person has to choose if they want to continue to believe them or not. For instance, I have seen people belittle boys because they cry or feel sad. I have watched the people who I am close to doing this. Those people believe that it is unmanly for a boy to show their emotional side and see it as a flaw. I also used to be one of those people that believed this. I've had a change of heart after we after witnessing how it way of thinking affected others.
