There are and always will be people disagreeing over the controversial Second Amendment, the right to bear arms, however there are several reasons why the Second Amendment is beneficial to the community. The Second Amendment to certain people in the United States is seen as an amendment that represents their freedom. Some of the key reasons that the right to bear arms is beneficial to the community is that it allows for citizens to hunt and provide for their families, it allows for people to protect themselves and others, and can keep it so that the government doesn’t have uncontrollable power. The amendment also allows for the people to be able to go and buys guns and ammo. The amount of benefits to the community that the second amendment gives off is under estimated by many, due to the news and publicity always being very negative towards guns and their uses. If the news was to ever show guns in a good light making the public more knowledgeable about the controversial Amendment the opinions of the people might shift gears a little into becoming more supporting of the Second Amendment and the benefits that come with it.

In December 1791, the Second Amendment was made: The Second Amendment offers “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep arms, and shall not be infringed.” This basically means United States gives the right to its residents to keep arms, and it guaranteed individuals the right to possess arms for their own personal defense. In the past few decades there been thousands of pages that are written seeking to uncover the meaning of the “the people,” and “bear arms,” have been strongly debated.

The second amendment of the bill of rights guarantees the right to own firearms and use them. The second amendment was approved 8 years after the revolutionary war.The second amendment was created December 15 1791. The ten amendments were created so they wouldn’t be put in a situation where they were controlled by a tyrannical government again, and to set the foundation for our newly founded government. The ten amendments were written in independence hall in Philadelphia. The second amendment isn’t just referring to the use of a weapon as a means of hunting but to protect you or many persons if needed.

The second amendment grants the right to bear arms. This is one of the big things that the new american people wanted to have as an american citizen. The american people felt it was absolutely vital that this law be in place especially since most of there food came from hunting and to hunt the usually used guns. Without this right many businesses at the time would not be able to keep themselves going and many families would not be able to survive. This right at the time was one of the best in the minds of the american people allowing them to own their own firearm. The founding fathers created this country on certain rights and ideals that shape our laws and government today. These rights and privileges were written down and kept in the bill of rights as amendments. The amendments are the laws that our country was made on and are still in effect today. One of these amendments is the right to bear arms. Meaning the right to own and use guns and other weapons. This is a big topic of discussion today because it is said to be a danger to the American people, but many others believe that it is our basic right to be able to defend our homes and our families.

The Amendment opens with the sentence that mentions the need of ‘a well-regulated militia’, but then declares that the right protected by the amendment is to be free from ‘infringement’. The right to keep and bear arms may be the single most controversial and contentious right listed in the constitution and this might be because the right was listed in 1791 and understanding what the founders and framers actually meant. Some people think that the Second Amendment is outdated and if the founders even had any idea of what kind of weaponry we would have today they would have included that the right to keep and bear arms should only be used in hunting and sportsman ship.

Bang, the sound punches through the streets, the trees, the fields. The sound is unmistakable, so sharp and so loud, like a firecracker up close. This sound is a sound like no other and can not be taken back, it is the sound of a gun shot. From the beginning, our country has given the rights to its citizens to keep and bear arms. To protect their land and them selves from strangers who want to hurt them. But in todays society guns are becoming a “problem”. Almost every day some one has been shot and murdered. People want Washington to solve the “gun problem” in America but that is a very hard up hill battle. For the right to bear arms is in the constitution and no one can take that away.

The second amendment is well regulated. Its different aspects to it. It has been a huge question over the years. There are many different opinions to it. We all have our different intake on things. It’s a lot of history coming into it. Some people will agree. Some people will disagree about it. There are so many questions about the right to bear arms. The gun laws are different. In some cases people are less likely to suffer from gun violence.

Firearms are weapons that have been used since the dynasties have ruled China and were adopted by European following Marco Polo’s visitation to China. Firearms were invented for the use of protection in war and for the slaying of animals in order to eat. Today firearms are used for war, domestic protection, self-protection, as leisure and in sports. Guns are useful for the same reason why they were invented, for protection and warfare. However, guns have become useless whenever they were used from the outside, intended purpose, such as gun sports and leisure activities. How often do you think about your individual right as a citizen? Sometimes people do have to give up their individual freedoms, but to me we all should be able to keep those freedoms. It’s our right to have our freedom of speech and freedom to bear arms.
