This chapter presents the research findings used to address the research questions presented in Chapter One. To that end, demographic is presented for each of the eighteen school districts studied in rural Kentucky. In addition, statistical analyses is presented as it relates to student success in each of the eighteen school districts at the third grade, the sixth grade, and the eleventh grade levels in the content area of reading. The data examined is from the 2015-2016 school year testing cycle as required by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The statistical analyses focuses on the relationship between students’ success, based on the results of the Kentucky Performance Rating for Educational Progress data, and superintendent tenure in each of the districts.

According to scientific reports 11 out of 12 years have ranked among the warmest on record. This increase temperature has many effects on the environment. Global warming creates nature?s imbalance and it has big impact on weather. Global warming is big part of the reason for sudden heat waves, storms and floods. There are many causes for global warming, but two main causes are burning fossil fuel and deforestation. Both of these causes increase greenhouse gases in the environment which creates greenhouse effects, the scientific reason for global warming.
Rivers can help develop different civilizations such as the Nile River. This great river measures thirty five hundred miles through many different countries (Orlin, 2010). The Nile helped to bring life, security and dictated how the people planned activities throughout the year. For example, the farmers would seed the land after the Nile would start swell and then recede to its normal banks (Orlin, 2010). This helped the seedlings to grow and then produce bountiful harvest. The target audience for this trial program is seniors (65 years and older) residents of Glacier Hills senior living community and for registered participants at Downtown Library, with little to no knowledge of computers or internet nor access to a personal computer. If successful, this program would expand for seniors of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, whether or not they have a personal computer.
Our program provides a great foundation in influencing children’s health, which in turn fosters important areas of development, which children need in order to grow healthy and ready to succeed in school. This involves a joint collaboration between the program, families and the community by providing essential services to the children that include a nutritional meal plan, health and related services such as screenings for children and services for children that are ill.
Awareness of what health threats I might be susceptible to, and information I learned in this course about health behavior change has led me to take primary and secondary prevention actions (Straub, 2014, pp. 204). Knowing that I have a predisposition to breast cancer, ovarian cancer, hypertension, and heart problems has motivated me to exercise and improve my physical fitness, and visit the doctor more regularly to stay as healthy as possible and keep myself from getting sick.
