Their families have been feuding for generations; therefore, they make a plan to run away and live a life of joy. However, this plan falls through and many are killed throughout this dangerous journey including both lives of the lovers. Because he does not think before acting, Romeo is brought into dangerous and avoidable situations. His biggest flaw of being rash and rushing things affects himself and the people around him physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Romeo asks if he will help them. “ In one respect I’ll thy assistant be; ” said by Friar Lawrence ( DBQ : Project , 2013). Romeo then goes and duals Tybalt, and he dies. Romeo is then banished. When this happened, Romeo had already got married to Juliet. Later on, when Romeo finds Juliet, he thinks that she is dead. He could have just waited another minute and she would have woken up, but he went and killed himself. He was so quick he did not even think. After he did this, Juliet woke up and say he was dead so she killed herself because of Romeo’s death.

The tale of two adolescents taking their lives because of their love for one another has inspired a lot of controversy as to whether the adults surrounding these adolescents could have done something to prevent this tragedy. The truth is the adults in the situation are ultimately to blame for the deaths of their love struck teens. My suspects for the blame, due to the evidence, would be Tybalt, Balthazar, and Friar Lawrence.

Their entire relationship is what would be considered a “whirlwind romance.” The second they meet each other they are swept of their feet and dive headfirst into the relationship. However, both people begin to lose themselves in the process. Their previous characteristics of patience and cautiousness disappear when they meet each other because the entire the entire process of their relationship is going too fast.

Everyone knows the story about Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, especially the part where they both killed themselves. But, if you look deeper, under the surface, you will realize that their deaths could have been avoided. I believe that if the Capulet and Montague feud had been resolved, if Juliet had acted differently, or if Friar Lawrence made sure the message was received, the story would not have ended deadly.
