In Mel Robbins’s criticism, she is a Clinton supporter but she thinks Clinton was being polite in the debate which can not help her to win the election, It’s a bad advice that Clinton’s adviser told her to restrict contend with Trump. Trump was constantly sniffing all night, Clinton’s way rebuttal to Trump was smiling and responding questions like a president. Clinton was being polite in the debate but it can’t help her to win the election. In Ruth Ben-Ghiat’s criticism, she thinks Clinton was started out soft, real quick she changed to the tough talk in country’s political, Trump lost his altitude in the debate, ranting, interrupting others’
This passage talks about how Ruth’s father, Tateh, ran a household. He did’nt show any love to his wife or kids but he put them to work. Sam got so upset about having to work in his Tateh’s store that he ran away. Running a household is a very important factor to Ruth and James. Ruth tends to run a very strict household with grades and if they don’t listen to Ruth they get punished by a belt. Ruth’s household tactics are similar to her Tateh but she shows love for them too. Ruth would even put a king or queen in charge over their siblings. In this passage, Mcbride is describing how Ruth and her siblings hated being treated as slaves to their Tateh. This also relates to what James and his siblings go through. Some of the siblings such as Helen
In this address Clinton uses a combination of all three to try to convince people of her being the right candidate for the job. Clinton’s rhetoric depends largely on the fact of her being relatable in comparison to the millionaire Trump who makes up the much envied American and criticized elite.
American novelist Jane Hamilton was born on July 13, 1957 in Oak Park, Illinois. After being told that she would never succeed as an author, Hamilton went on to write short stories, tow which she received praise for, eventually winning the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for her 1988 classic, The Book of Ruth (Shufeldt). Her first novel follows the life of Ruth Grey Dahl, a poor girl in the small town of Honey Creek, Illinois. She lives with her mother May and for a while, her brother Matthew. Surrounded by a motley crew of family and friends, Ruth’s life takes off for a new rollercoaster ride with every character introduction. As each individual character shapes Ruth in a different manner, she learns what will become the overarching theme of the novel. Jane Hamilton is able to characterize Ruth through her many interactions with those around her. By the end of the novel, the characterization of Ruth uncovers the overarching theme of The Book of Ruth, which is that suffering and sorrow is inevitable, however the way in which you deal with it is what makes you who you are. Unfortunately for Ruth, her life is mainly dictated by the characters associated with her, a dismal fact that leads her to a multitude of disappointments and regrets. Ruth fails to control her own life, instead allowing her friends and family, including her abusive mother, missing father, genius brother, floozy best friend, and crazed husband, to do so for her, which will result in her own character
The second presidential debate demonstrates an indecisive clash between opposite personalities; the rehearsed demeanor of Hillary Clinton juxtaposes the raw audacity of Donald Trump. Despite their dissimilar appearance, the candidates employ like strategies – they deflect accusations and criticize their adversary. Clinton suffers to succeed in this format. Neither knowledge of policy nor experience in office effectively counter accusations against personal character. This observation is nonetheless irreverent. Although Trump dominates the debate format, he alienates the electorate.
In the first presidential debate, between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Clinton won the debate convincingly. She won the debate because she was able to answer the questions that were asked by the moderator, Lester Holt, in a polished manner. Clinton demonstrated that she was much more prepared than Trump by answering the questions with facts and details, as well as occasional pokes at Trump. Clinton's strengths were that she was more prepared and had done more research than Trump. This was obvious when she answered all the questions completely and in-depth unlike Trump. Clinton's weaknesses were that she may have over prepared for the debate. At times it seemed like she had rehearsed the answers instead of talking from her heart and this
Secretary Clinton has extensive political experience including being an lawyer, U.S. senate, secretary of state, first lady and now a candidate for the presidential election. She is the first women in the history of the United States to run for president. Clinton, being women has experienced many derogatory and denigrate outbursts from the citizens of the United States especially from Trump’s supporters. She was called a “Bigot” by Trump several times during a rally in Jackson, Mississippi and he told his supporters that she “is a bigot who sees people of color only as votes, not as human beings worthy of a better future” (qtb Diamond, schleifer CNN). In addition, there is an anti-clinton merchandise that is called a Hillary nutcracker and in general Clinton is faced with “sexist language and images of a sort that male politicians don’t have to contend with. ”
The 2016 presidential candidates have cause catastrophic events, since the beginning of their rallies between their supporters and the opposition. After performing intensive research for each individual runner there was a few similarities and differences found. These includes their early life, policies on education, government management, and the new forming cold war. Miss Clinton perceives herself as a dedicated lady who is politically aware in changing the politics when needed to. As opposed, to Mr. Trump who interprets himself uplifting the city of Manhattan. In addition to, creating his own territory of estate by seducing everyone worldwide with his superstar character starting in the United States of America.
She mentioned that she was political experience and Trump does not. Clinton said that she is a problem solver and Trump is not. Clinton also attacked his bombastic personality, saying that he is not fit to be president. Knowing that Americans are cautious of Trump’s personality, Clinton’s attacked served as a tactic to get Trump to respond. Clinton wanted a response from Trump that would negatively portray him. Her bait was successful because after her speech, Trump tweeted that she “is unfit to lead” because she does not discuss radical Islam.
Within the United States, we have had 44 presidents, some which were voted in for four years and also those who were voted in for two terms. The different campaign styles and strategies each candidate has used has reflected what they have brought to our country if they were elected and even had some issues with the American body as some people may not have been interested or agreed on what their styles were. Recently, we have just witnessed a campaign from Hillary Clinton as she was facing head to head with her opponent Donald Trump for the seat at the White House to be the next President of the United States. Although she did not win, Hillary had many different campaign strategies and styles that she expressed throughout her two year journey of campaigning. With this being said, Hillary had various ups and downs all which I will be comparing to Barack Obama’s campaign when he was running for President back in 2008.
Clinton has insulted many groups of people, which shows that she does not have the character to lead a country. She has slammed Christians and has said inflammatory things about various groups of voters. It is one thing to bash an opponent in a political race, but quite another to bash the voters that support the opponent. For example, she has called her opponent's supporters ‘deplorables’. Wisdom would seem to dictate that one would want to win over the other voters, not alienate them. Perhaps Clinton has such confidence in her corrupt campaign that she failed to see any need to be in favor with the voters. Hillary is not very well known for her kindness and genuineness. She is perceived as a phony by many and does not seem to care enough to try to change her image. For instance, Clinton has been videoed stating that she is a progressive speaking to progressives, but also saying that she is a moderate while speaking to moderates. She has, throughout the race, kept her exposure to press conferences to a minimum, even to the point of roping off reporters at some places, which “insults the traditions of the First-in-the-Nation primary” meaning she must have had something to hide as The New Hampshire GOP

Ruth has been living in Japan for the last 11 years and now has two children: a 10-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. Ruth and her family live in a rural town in Niigata Japan where the children go to school, the father works, and she is a stay at home mom. Although Ruth has learned the Japanese language and both speaks and understands it very well, she does not feel like she could have a job like she did in Mexico because she cannot write the language perfectly. Consequently, she along with her husband, decided that the best option was for her to stay home and focus on raising the

In a lengthy speech billed as an economic speech, presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton launched a part two blistering assault on her Republican rival Donald Trump, this time on his economic plans.
Though Clinton presented several good plans, a fair amount of the promises made can be called far-fetched and unrealistic. People are sure to be behind plans that will help the American people pursue the prosperous life they desire, but the people will not stand with a candidate that promises plans that are highly unlikely. For example creating a Constitutional amendment to stop Citizens United would be a difficult task as the process to pass a Constitutional Amendment would make it difficult as a there isn’t an issue with bipartisan agreement. Making implausible vows can hurt Hillary Clinton during the campaign because she will have an increasing amount of skeptics questioning the honesty and validity of her plans. The people’s trust in candidate Clinton can diminish if the people feel her ideas won’t be fulfilled. If there is one thing that voters dislike, it’s a candidate that promises great success that cannot be achieved. It seems that . This mistake made by former Secretary Clinton is very detrimental and can be used as point against her as she moves on to attempt to become the
Bill Clinton first starts off by appealing to the public by using ethos. He starts off with ethos to make his speech seem more credible. He uses his wife, the vice president, and himself for their credibility. The main example of this is when he says “Hillary and the vice president and I.” He refers to them because after all they are all political leaders and role models. Clinton’s
