On Monday, November 16, 2015 at about 0915 hours, Sergeant Ladyzhenskiy and I [Sgt. Lesly Charles] were present inside of 331 Pulaski Street to interview the complainant, Mrs. Gail Smith in regard to the above incident that occurred on August 23, 2014. The following is a synopsis of the complaint that Mrs. Smith had emailed to CCRB back on August 2014. Mrs. Smith stated [verbatim]: Mr. Riley was placed in a holding cell at the station-house but released without charges. One hundred dollars [$100.00] was confiscated but not vouchered or returned to him. Mr. Smith was arrested and two hundred and five dollars [205.00], [pair] gold cufflinks, and sunglasses were confiscated but not vouchered or returned to him.
Are there elements in his early history that may have had an impact on his overall cognitive development?
The officer’s actions were justified in this case because Lieutenant Baxter reasonably believed that force was necessary to defend himself from the young man. According to one section of the Penal Code, a deadly physical force is justified when the officer reasonably believes that a person has committed a felony and that, in attempting to escape from the custody or in resisting arrest, the felon is armed with a deadly weapon. When the young man stole Mr. Marcel Potts’ car, he is guilty of theft. Therefore, he has committed a felony. Additionally, as stated by the officer, the guy had tried to climb the brick wall. This proves the element of attempting to escape from the custody. Finally, the young man did have a possession of a knife, a deadly
Sergeant Lou Maynard is a sergeant on the police force and there are couple of officers that are getting ready to retire. Most of the other police officers and Maynard feel as if the retiring officers are slacking on the job. The officers police reports are very sloppy and don’t seem like professional reports. These two retiring officers have teamed together for a lot of years and have lost interest in being social with the other officers. The officers seem to be having motivational issues that need attention from Maynard. Maynard feels as if the officers have given up on the job. Motivation is something that changes on a daily basis for different people and usually it is because situations change. Maynard should look into Maslow’s motivational
Officer Mathews stays active during his shift. If he isn't answering calls for service he does proactive patrol. Officer Mathews often assists with walking patrols, even if he isn't assigned to the Central Business District. Officer Mathews has the following productivity; 1,590 total incidents that include 269 vehicle stops, 170 suspicious contacts and 21 warrant attempts. Officer Mathews wrote 99 citations, 44 of them were moving violations and 55 were municipal/county violations. Officer Mathews recorded 102 arrests with 15 trespassing arrests and 8 DUI arrests. I would like to see Officer Mathews focus more on DUI enforcement and would recommend that he attends DUI training to better his knowledge and abilities.
Sgt Garcia is my ADMIN clerk, probably the best Sgt I have wrote on. She is what we need in our female officer ranks. She is currently working on finishing her degree and would like to become an officer.
On Feb. 13, the LSU Tigers delivered a 76-71 statement win over No. 15 Texas A&M that, for a moment, dispelled the common notion that head coach Johnny Jones is nothing more than a top-tier recruiter with undeniable coaching deficiencies.
SPC Ramos performed in a superior manner during E FSC, 317th Brigade Engineer Battalion Field Training Exercise (FTX). Her hard work and dedication played a vital role in the success of the Distribution Platoon's operation and training. SPC Ramos took the initiative in the absence off her NCOs to gather Soldiers and stage all vehicles for distro convoy operations. She also helped create the platoon's checklist for the company FTX, resulting in everyone having 100% of their equipment during the pre-combat inspection.

If I were major appointing the next Chief and were down to two candidates for my jurisdiction, I would choose Chief Davis. For the reason that he does not show any indication of any weaknesses, nor does the case study four provide too much information about what Chief Davis became focused on within the organization, or how he went about his plan, or how successful his plan became. I would not have chosen Chief Fortier because he failed to prepare his fellow officers. Therefore, would cause the department to have complete failure since no one in the department would have any idea as to what they were supposed to do. However, I would bring Fortier into shadow Davis while allowing them to work together to build an outstanding department. The reason
