When it comes to the Gettysburg Address, Lincoln, wrote it within three days in July after the chaos that resulted in deaths and injured soldiers. Lincoln, believed that you can move forward after a loss by reminding the people (government) of principles that are bigger than just one person, give an accurate description of the mess that they're placed in, understand and acknowledge the sacrifices made, propose a rededication towards the main goal (mission), lastly, remind them again of the principles and how they're bigger than one person alone. When you set out to remind the government that there is principles and they are larger than any one person alone, you give them an idea of what you wish to accomplish. "Our father brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal (Abraham Lincoln Online, 2017)." Hopefully, a leader especially in that era, knew what the organization can achieve or try to achieve without money being the bottom line, it allows progress and ideas to flow more freely. A leader will give an accurate description of the mess that they're placed in. Acknowledge, celebrate, honor those who have sacrificed their lives and limbs to move the mission onwards. A true leader will bring to the light of any individual deciding to retire, the accomplishments they have made to help the organization. By recognizing what each team member has done to help the organization, such as, what they struggled, fought to accomplish, and the long hours and dedication it
