Sarah-Alice Monologue

Early that morning, newly hired park ranger, Jennifer Flores, stuffed a banana into the blender and mixed up a high energy chocolate drink. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail and her face was clean and free of makeup. She was dressed in a black jogging outfit that hugged her body tightly and showed off her shape. She poured her drink into a glass and guzzled it down like she was in a beer chugging contest with her sorority sisters.

"Mrs. Henshaw, no matter what you may have read, Chris and I are dating, nothing more," Mary Alice said.

Hi Alice! How are you doing? Fine? I hope so.

I sit in my house with guilt rushing through my blood. How could I do this to Rachel? How could I trick her into marrying me? Why have I focused my life on money instead of love? Why have I betrayed her? She sits quietly. Eating two meals at once like a great white shark devouring a fish. She concentrates on every little thing she does. For just a second I focus on her. Then my mind clouds, and one image has appeared. Vanessa. As if she controlled my mind and altered what thoughts I had. I have been having an affair with Vanessa, Rachel’s neighbor, for a little while now. She is as beautiful as a diamond in the sunshine. Her jet black hair falls perfectly to her shoulders, and her bright green eyes seem as though they look into her soul. Her

I am 21 years of age with no one to count on, no hopes for a brighter future, and feeling all alone trying to be the best mother I can be for Abigail-Rose. I’m wondering who can help guide me through my journey of motherhood and as a young woman, where I try to be as visible as possible in covering my emotions through a smile. I’m trying to show that I am a strong young woman, yet I’m scared to do or say the wrong things. I desperately hope no one will ask me if “I’m okay,” because then I’ll burst into tears.

It wasn’t enough that at sixteen, Ava’s life had become as gray and bleak and lifeless as a winter tree. But, the day she was bitten by a fox, she knew things could only get worse.

Jarvis was quickly interrupted by the commander asking, “Wait, what’s the Cuse area?” Jarvis paused to pick at his mashed potatoes with his fork before beginning again. “I’m from Syracuse. The Cuse is just what we locals call it. Well, at least that’s what we used to call it. Now, I’m not too sure what it might be. But I suppose the place really couldn’t have gotten much worse.”

“William! Get back here! You know that’s Melinda’s land!” Carefree young William raced through the field, closing in on Melinda´s apple orchard. Melinda was the evil fairy who owned 25 acres just outside the town. On her land was an orchard. In this orchard grew the finest apples in all of England. These large, sweet apples were desired by any who laid eyes on them. The only problem was Melinda… She cursed anyone who dared step foot on her land, especially her cherished apple orchard.

Throughout the years my siblings and I have been in many different performances, whether for dance, tumbling, or acting. Now, with all these performances there have been at least a few mishaps. One particular incident I remember quite well happened when I was playing the role of Jo March in the play Little Women.

Today is the fourth day me and Little Ann have been sitting here waiting to hunt. Billy is just walking around the camp looking at other dogs and talking to the hunters. He starts making his way back to Little Ann and I. In the buggy Billy digs us each out a weenie and feeds it to us. I swallow mine whole and look at him and ask for more. I don't really think he understood me because he just walked away smiling.

I was wrong about Catherine- and I’m not embarrassed to say that in any way. But regardless of first impressions, and regardless of whatever is at work in this universe, I’m thankful for what kept us together.

It was December fourth, two thousand fourteen; a sad, scary day for sure. This day was the day Amy LaVancha was diagnosed with cancer. Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer. Though this cancer has an eighty six percent survival rate after five years, it was still super scary.

Bravery, a simple word that means so much. To speak up, even when it would be easier to be quiet. There comes a time in all of our lives where we make a decision in a certain situation to do the right thing even if we are scared of the consequence. I remember when I was in seventh grade I had this friend, Amanda, that would get picked on by this bigger girl. Now, I know it is not up to me to "fight battles" for others but bullying is wrong. Amanda did not acknowledge this girl at all, and usually the girl would just say mean things but one day it escalated. I guess the girl was tired of being ignored so she decided to make a scene in front of everyone, and i was tired of my friend not wanting to come to school because of this.

A youthful girl rushes down a narrow alleyway blanketed with snow; a worried expression on her face. This girl's name is Alice, and she is searching for her sister, Alma, who ran out outside of her house without permission quite a while ago. The sun was setting outside, and she longs for Alma to return home safely before the darkness swallowed up the streets. As she is walking, she notices a chalkboard pressed against a brick wall with numerous names scribbled across. While inspecting it, the girl recognizes Alma's name doodled across its surface. Behind this board lies a quaint little shop, and she determines that it would be beneficial to investigate inside for clues. She dashes towards its door in hopes of finding another indication of her lost sister.

I break away from his hold right before Abigail and the court ladies come back, “Your Highnesses, your tea.” I get up, pick up a cup of tea and throw it at Henry and say “Don’t talk about my sister ever again. Please look at it from my point of view. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” As I walk away I hear him cursing under his breath but his stupidity is not something I can deal with right now. Abigail rushes to him, trying to clean up his shirt. “Abigail, let’s go. You are my maid, not his.” I walk to throne room to see my parents sitting in their chairs. I walk up to the bottom of the stairs and kneel and bow my head in front of them. “My king and queen, please reconsider. I can let Victoria take the throne with no opposition. She deserves the
