There are five conflicting styles used to improve with conflicts, discrepancies, and other incongruity behaviors amongst a group of workers. Zalaback (2011) Avoidance style is when people in an organization overlook the main problems. When practicing this method of style, these people typically have a difficult time achieving their own goals and other necessary job tasks. Compromising style is another method used when conflicts occur. This person plays the role of an mediator because they are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that everyone is happy and pleased with the overall decision made. Learning the different styles and multiple strategies to use to handle these problems before they escalade to other measures. Being able to speak to another employee in a respectful manner. Practicing these behaviors can help reduce conflicts. Give a person the opportunity to complete his or her own task. Stay within your boundaries. Most people should be willing to work with others. In order to work well with others, communication is the chief component to building a wide-range of stable relationships throughout the organization. The main point is to observe the behaviors of your co-workers and be able to talk to one another when a person becomes irritable or to feel disrespected by others. In a dispute, it's often easier to describe how others respond then to how we respond. Each of us has a predominant conflict style that we use to meet our own needs. By examining conflict styles and the consequences of those behaviors, we can gain a better understanding of the impact that our personal conflict style has on other people. With a better understanding, you then can make a conscious choice on how to respond to others in a conflict situation to help reduce work conflict and stress.

The study seeks to identify some of the issues that affect the ability to comprehend and remember events after reading a passage or sentence. In the study, short passages are administered to some individuals. The passages carry similar messages but are different in structure. In the study, there is an assumption that sentences have both superficial and underlying structures. The paper also seeks to identify the understanding capacity of an individual who has prior knowledge of a certain piece of article (Bransford & Johnson 717). The expected findings are that the individuals do not necessarily store and deduce the meanings of a sentence.
After I analyzed the writing sample using the story grammar marker we used in class I noticed some markers that weren’t used and others that were. The character of this story is my student himself. The setting of this story is something that is not specified by my student since it really isn’t set up like a story. I am about ten years old in elementary school. The foundations that will dictate the rest of our educational career are embedded here. We’re all beginning to become self aware, realising we are separate entities from the others around us, although we haven’t quite understood what that means. We have also begun to wonder what our private parts are meant for and why they come in two different sets. We’re told about these “changes” that we’ll undergo in the next years, how our bodies will change and how we’ll come to resemble our mothers and fathers. In a class of 30 you can pick out four of the girls whose bodies have already begun to morph into something entirely different. I’m not among them, but I wonder about what I’ll turn into when my body starts changing. I am thin and tall with very long hair, but I don’t feel very pretty and I’ve convinced myself that I am not human because if I was then I would like the other girls in my class. The adults around me tell me I’ll grow into myself which isn’t a concept ten-year-old me can fathom and so the adults probably just feel sorry for little ugly me.
My journey through, Religion and Personal growth was very informative, insightful, increased my perception, and I did a lot of self-reflection while taking this course. I experienced the greatest learning starting with what religion meant. I always felt God’s presence when I prayed however, learning that religion is the fear and awe one feels in the presence of God’s sprit was an amazing moment for me. I now understood why worshiping God had such a profound effect on me since childhood. If you sincerely from your heart give God love he always love you in return.
The concept that one person is better than another based on unchangeable characteristics is a frivolous yet extremely prevalent doctrine that is accepted and conserved by a great number in our society. Race, class, sexuality and gender all determine ones privilege and power which, for me, has had a direct link to my own self worth.
