"Bye!" I said to my friend Olivia as we departed to go to our homerooms. When I walked into class, the boys were already there and so was Shelby and Jadyn. Before I go any farther, let me explain. Our classroom was set up in rows. For example, the first row on the left side consisted of 4 desks next to each other. Then the row behind it had 4 desks, and the row behind that 5. On the right side of the classroom, there were 3 rows of 3. The boys, Bryson, Blake, Josh, and Brady sat in the first row of the left, and the girls, Shelby, Jadyn, Taliah, and I sat in the row directly behind them. "Tell me!" Jadyn said impatiently. Blake glanced at Bryson, Josh, and Brady, who were listening, and he smirked at them. They all laughed and gave each other a look. "Oh, so you 're all in on this," Taliah said, folding her arms across her chest. "Yeah. Since you all know, why can 't we?" Shelby said. Josh laughed. "You 'll find out soon enough." "But I want to know now!" Jadyn exclaimed. Jadyn was Blake 's ex girlfriend, and she still liked him and wanted to get back together, so there was a good reason why Jadyn would want to know so badly. "Well maybe if you were more patient, he would tell you." Brady smirked. Blake looked at me while everyone was arguing around us and mouthed to me, "I 'll tell you later." I gave him a slight nod, that no one noticed except him. "You need to be quiet over there!" Mrs. G shouted at us and the boys turned around to face the front. Jadyn was still fuming. "I 'll find out sooner or later," she said angrily. Taliah and Shelby nodded in agreement. "We 'll get to the bottom of this," Taliah said. "Woman do better research than the FBI." All the girls laughed, making Mrs. G yell at us again to be quiet. "Who could it be?" I thought to myself. I shrugged. I guess I 'll find out later. Chapter 2 "Alright class, time for lunch," my 3rd period civics teacher Mrs. Lund said as we all lined up for lunch. Suddenly, my water bottle spilled all over my desk and onto the floor!
