As Harry stepped into the home of Andromeda Tonks, he was blown away. With it’s high ceilings and lavish decorations, it was almost regal in appearance. He was reminded to an extent of the Malfoy Manor, at least what little of it he had seen. Hermione and Ron trailed behind him, along with Mrs. Weasley. The rest of the Weasleys had either not been able to make it, or simply didn’t want to go. Ron had decided to go only out of reluctance, as well as several days of begging from Harry. Hermione came with Ron, and Mrs. Weasley joined them, though Harry wasn’t sure why. The only reason Harry had agreed to come to Thanksgiving at Andromeda’s was because Teddy, his godson, had requested it, and Harry couldn’t say no to him. Harry heard heeled …show more content…
Teddy had a habit of mimicking hair colors. The two males pointedly avoided eye contact with one another. Teddy motioned for Harry to lean down, and Harry did as his godson instructed. Teddy cupped his hands around Harry’s ear. “You need to introduce yourself, Draco isn’t good with people. That’s what Aunt Narcissa said, anyway.” He whispered. Harry chuckled a little, and said aloud, “Draco and I know each other, actually. We went to Hogwarts together.” To Harry’s confusion, a frown appeared on the smaller boy’s face as he looked between the two of them. “Were you guys friends?” Harry had been hoping that he wouldn’t ask that question. The emotion on his godson’s face looked far too hopeful for Harry to tell the truth. “Um, yeah. Yeah, we were, we just haven’t seen each other in a while, is all.” Draco only stared at the floor, picking at the bottom of his vest. Teddy seemed to believe him though, as his pout turned back into his signature smile. Draco pulled a very forced half-grimace in response when Teddy looked up at him. Harry returned the young boy’s expression, and was about to say something when he heard the rest of his group approach behind him. He belatedly remembered that Ron was with him, and that he was liable to react poorly to Draco’s presence. “What is he doing here?!” The disgust in Ron’s voice was palpable. Harry elbowed Ron and directed his attention to Teddy, who looked very upset by Ron’s attitude. Ron clumsily tried to save the situation.
Albus pulled at his beard. “I dislike how he showed, but happy he did. I also remember a similar occurrence birthing a great Auror twenty years ago; let’s hope like father, like son. So, what did Ronald Weasley say for himself?”
Louis found his brows furrowing wondering what Harry could have meant by that, five seconds ago he was saying how much he mattered to him. He was about to say something else when Harry cut in.
She blushes and looks down. “So, I have to ask you something…” she begins and I nod. “Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar… ” She asks, avoiding my gaze.
“Well I was here to meet an old friend of mine that was a brother to me.” i acknowledged .
Draco smirked. “Don’t play coy with me, Miss Granger. How are you doing now that you have rid yourself of that tiresome Weasley oaf?”
“Just anxious, I guess.” Tyler hadn’t looked at him since his initial greetings, and he didn’t now.
"Well, Hogwarts students are allowed to practive magic in Diagon Alley right before the school year starts." the other boy proudly explained. "By the way, I'm Viktor Nikiforov."
"Maybe," Remus muttered, "this is our twisted chance at raising Harry like we should've done in the first place."
his voice so that Harry could barely hear him, “. . . that your lot
“Yeah, well…” Sirius was about to come up with an excuse when Maci Greene came up to him and laid her hand on his chest.
"Didn't you meet the transfer student? Gray." The salmon haired boy asked, sitting next to best friend.
“Um. What’s your name?” Harry asked a surprisingly bold statement from him. He was tempted to simply stand up and walk out of the diner in order to prevent all future embarrassment. She smiled at him a slightly surprised look on her face.
Harry didn't say anything. He liked being back on speaking terms with Ron too much to speak his mind right now - but he somehow thought that Hermione had got the point much better than Ron had.”(432) “Just because it's taken
“Lionel, I can’t bear to look at myself with this hair! Every time I do, it reminds me of what happened. It may seem silly, but I must try. Tell me you understand.”
