“Hello, and welcome to the Foreigner,” A woman greeted us, only she wasn’t a woman. It was a hologram. She looked much like an airbrushed model of a magazine on earth, but, we were far from earth. She was dressed like a flight hostess, her hair was pulled back tightly and in a low neat bun, she was wearing a navy blue skirt, which matched her navy blue blazer and a white blouse with a fluffy front was tucked into the skirt. Other people, men, women and children stood before the hologram woman, listening as she talked. “We are very happy to see you all,” I watched as her body rippled as the light flickered from the hologram. “As you may know, you have been asleep for a total of a hundred and five years, that means that we are only a few …show more content…
“Come along, everyone!” Natt said and began wheeling away from the hologram woman and everyone followed.
There were seven floors, the first floor was on the very bottom, the living spaces of bronze members. Over the large doorway was a circle, like a giant penny with a featureless, faceless man on it. The second floor was a communal floor, with lounges, restaurants, a bar, gaming room and other activities to entertain. The third floor consisted of the pilot, and staffs living quarters, as well as the cockpit, storage containers with supplies for Atlas, the nursing station and a way to exit the Foreigner with space gear, and a very large classroom for the children. The fourth floor was the silver living area, the same entrance as the bronze living area only a silver featureless, faceless man on a coin.
My stuff was already in my room. The silver plan wasn’t as large as the gold plan, but larger than the bronze, I was open to more foods, beverages, lounges, and areas on the ship. The silver room had a queen sized mattress and a medium sized dresser, my own bathroom (which bronze members didn’t have the luxury of), and lastly a window.
I sat at the window for what felt like hours instead of unpacking. Space was so much more beautiful than anything I could have googled up on earth.
It was never morning, never noon, and never evening, only night. The ship worked as one large time teller, lights changing with time
Marcus had a bemused look on his face that melted into one of pure incredulity. First she refused to come down, and then , she wandered off without leave? As a naval commander and ship's master, the penalty for any slave who left the person of any officer without leave was to be lashed to the deck for a half day and get 10 strokes of the Cat. And yet, this brazen cocotte with the copper tresses felt free to so disrespect her own Master in his own household?
and saw her mom and sister, in their own bikinis. Smiling, she placed a handful of sun screen on her legs and rubbed it in, she continued up to her chest, neck, and face. Offering her sister, the bottle. Taking off her bikini top, she laid face forward, so her sister could place some lotion on her back, and places where she could not reach.
The Third Class facilities also including their own dining rooms as well as public areas including deck space, a smoking room for men and a reading room for women, although these were not as glamorous in design as the First Class facilities.
Almost instantly I am desperately lost and utterly confused. I can hardly see there’s no way I’ll be able to just run. After I decide to stop I look at one of the holograms. The picture appears to be some kind of bug buzzing around a plant. Maybe this is like one of those stupid find the order thing that I did in first grade. I look at the next one I see an image of a turtle chewing on something. Could it really be this simple? I go to the next one it’s a picture of the bug flying away. I see another and another but the farther I go the less sense they make, I see images of bunnies, buildings, eggs I think I even saw a cat in there. I was going to have to think like a turtle.
The beeping of a monitor was getting annoying. With the sterile smell and constant humming of technology, Corvus could have really used some music. His body ached from the fight he had won, ached from the damage that was finally catching up to him. His bones had broken numerous times, something he could easily fix. However, now he was just getting his energy back while the lab coat people ran tests on him. They didn't need his consent for anything given the fact that this hospital was not really considered such, but it was the only place he could really go while staying under the radar of the native population here that would be happy to see a bounty hunter like him floating dead in the ocean. Obviously, this was something he did not want,
“What the hell is he doing here?” John asked when he opened the motel door to see his son with Sam Campbell.
It was Saturday morning and I had just woke up. I received an email from the coach that coaches one of the best teams. I could not believe what I had just seen. On the email it wrote “Dear Victoria, I had watched you play in a few games, and I think you would be a good addition to my team. Would you want to come to practice tonight?” I thought to myself, I am not good enough, so maybe I should not go. But as the day went on, I actually thought that I should go just for the experience.
Laughter of young men floated through the air like chimes on a breezy day as they sparred amongst each other near the barracks of Highgarden. As young Lords of the Reach, they all had dreams of finding glory for themselves as knights. Yet only one of them had been anointed, the future Lord of Highgarden, Mace Tyrell, whom many believed his Lord father had bought the title rather than earned it by his own merit. Having just turned seven-and-ten not three moons prior, one could see glimpses of the man Mace would become. Tall with broad shoulders, his scalp was covered with thick, curly brown tendrils of sweaty hair that dangled loosely over his brow covering hazel eyes as his bulky body heaved for breath from the exertion. His strong jaw is
How are we supposed to go in deeper? It’s not like we have a submarine!” “But we do!” Willow exclaimed suddenly. “Huh?” Me and Scarlett asked at the same time. “Well, at least my dad does. He works for the Marine Biology Center, and he can take us down in a submarine!” Willow told us excitedly. “Great! Let’s go!” exclaimed, already running down the driveway. Willow and Scarlett hopped on their bikes that were parked in my driveway, and I got mine out of the garage. Then we set off to the Marine Biology Center.
After battling traffic for forty-five minutes, Arthur arrived at the hospital and checked in at the front desk. The receptionist was pleasant when she informed him it would be a bit of a wait before he could see Tristan, and to take a seat in the waiting area.
“He’s a businessman with a diversified portfolio.” This was true. Her father owned many buildings around the city as well as the team. She had not lied. “How about you, what do you do for a living?”
I've come to know these words well, as it's my favorite fight song. Ironwood has asked for me to do his dirty work. I guess his “specialists” aren't special enough. I'm about decline, of course, when Ironwood starts filling me in. Atlas was under threat of a Yeti Grim, as tall as a mountain, and everyone they sent in failed to take it down, so naturally, it was my turn. That’s my job. I’m a consulting specialist. As the only one with the title, it's sure is a pain for them if I turn down a job. I’m a wild card. A freelance that travels the world looking for the best fights and most interesting adventures. One thing I try to never get mixed up in is the world's troubles. I don't care about “making peace” or “stopping evil”. I can leave that
3 young boys were running around the field was near where they live in the satellite sector. One of golden blonde hair another of fire orange hair and the last of black and yellow hair named in order Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan, and Yusei Fudo. The three boys were playing tag and soon as Crow was it the other two ran for the hills. Yusei was running, then he saw cards that fallen on the ground thinking his fell out of his pocket, he then picked one up it happened to be the duel monsters card, Chaos Sorcerer “This isn't one of my cards” he thinks “So whos is it” he said, looking around
It was near dinner time in the Castle of Rowland and the little prince had spent every minute since the occurrence in the garden never more than 10 paces from the King.
As I approached my gate, I was still snickering at the thought of the lady, though it had died down from a stomach cramping laugh to a slight giggle. I walked up to a big gray pole protruding from the ground next to a door that read, "B-gate to Transport Module" and tapped my wrist to it. A holographic projection came to life in front of my face and read me my biometrics while it scanned my virtual ticket to Hokron, one of Jupiters' moons, off of my personal ID chip injected inside of my wrist. The projection showed a message explaining that it was scanning for known diseases to "ensure the safety of the public". After about fifteen seconds of scanning, the word "clear" popped up in all capital letters followed by, "Proceed to Transport Module". The door next to me slid open and I stepped inside.
