General Patrick finally took notice of the trident on the uniforms of all of the men sitting at the table, not to mention the tape on the uniforms that read ‘US Navy’. “How the hell….” General Patrick said out loud.

"You were a cute kid," I say aloud to him, smirking at his baffled expression. He was staring down at me with confusion, probably wondering what was happening and what the hell I was doing. I honestly don't even know what I'm doing myself.

The warm flow of water ran in rivulets down his body, the steam and soothing words reliving the pain that I had witnessed today: Seeing Paledon dead as a rock. The pain still yanked at my heart, making me feel like I was dying. It was the fear caving in me. Thunder rolled overhead as I stepped into the living room. Unlike most homes this day, this one was without electricity. While most of the country had accepted the 20th century with open arms, my family had stuck with the 19th. Leaving me to deal with outdated candles and fireplaces. Thunder crashed again.

It was the second day of camp, and the first activity on the list was lava lamps. It was just the old colored water, oil solution with an alka-seltzer creating magnificent bubbles. Of course, we knew how it worked, but the little ones thought it was magic.

The trek was arduous and cold despite the layers and layers of clothing Sage wore. She wasn't even sure if Gu Mi knew where she was going. If I was going to be invisible for one day. I would go out in a person's house and start to make things in the there house., I would go and do him because it would look like it was moving by itself.
