BEEP BEEP BEEP. I swing in the direction of the alarm that reminds me that today I am not allowed to sleep in. I hear a loud thud as the alarm clock goes crashing to the ground. What's today? Tuesday. Great. My least favorite day. I grudgingly yank the covers off and immediately regret it as the coldness of the room hits me like a wave, immediately waking me up. I shiver as I quickly get ready to go to school. Just as I am getting ready to bolt out the door to run off to the ancient seeming bus that picks me up every morning and brings me to the prison that I am forced to go to, I glance at the clock. YES, IT'S FINALLLY HALLOWEEN! Then I bolt out the door so I am not late.
"Goodbye students. Safe trick or treating!" Sings the teacher as I dash out the door. I need to quickly get home or I will be late for meeting up with the group. I get on the bus and stare out the window as Swiss Point is slowly drifting away from my thoughts. Nothing seems to be going on as I stare out the window and drift into the land of my thoughts. I have to pick out a cool costume so they think I am cool like them. I can't wear the costume my little sis made for me. That isn't cool, I'd just look stupid. I'll just have to sneak past her and my parents so they don't make me wear it. Time slips away as I ponder more and soon I am at my stop. I snap out of my trance when I hear the bus door click as it opens. I quickly fumble with my stuff as I attempt to make my way out of the bus.
7:00 P.M, finally time to meet up with the group. I glare at my sister's costume she made for me to wear tonight. She's so annoying. I can't wear that. But she made it for me to wear tonight and she will be so upset if I don't wear it. I push that thought out of my mind as I put on my cool costume of a werewolf that I secretly bought without my parents knowing. This is cool enough, right? Yeah. Mabey. I finish getting my costume on and slowly open my door. A loud creak comes from my door. I curse my door for being so loud that and look down the hallway. No one. Perfect. I slowly make my way down the hallway and towards the front door. "BYE! I’M LEAVING TO GO MEET UP WITH SOME FRIENDS!", I yell as I quickly close the door behind me.
Friends. That's not
One day in Lindley Middle School there were two girls in Mr. Foreman’s classroom and their names were Anazia Maisonet-Snell and Lanecia Hayward. So as they were just sitting in class doing their work Lanecia decided she was going to take Anazia’s pencil case because her pencil broke and when Anazia saw Lanecia took her pencil case Anazia said, “Give me back my pencil case” and Lanecia didn’t which made Anazia very upset. Then Anazia got louder because she knew that that would make Lanecia give back her pencil case. Since Lanecia gave Anazia back her pencil case Lanecia didn’t bother trying to take it again.
Finally…. Halloween was here. I have waited all year for this day. My all time favorite holiday. School was finally over and I slipped on my costume and jetted out the door. I was ready for the spooky scares, chilly air, and crazy dares that happen on halloween night. My friend Kayla and I walked to each door chanting “trick or treat”, but one house appeared to be kind of peculiar. The house was big, white, and the tiles were falling off. Nobody dared to step on the property of the house.
Finally, here. I check the time on my flip phone and its past midnight. This is not looking good. I’m feeling petrified and everything is shaking whilst continuing to move in the path of horror. My gut is telling me not to but I need to face this predominant fear of mine, and with that I suddenly pressed the metallic doorbell. Consequently, the double French doors creaked open. What have I done?
It was a warm fall night Grace, Hannan, Jack, and I planned to trick or treat together. “Hey we should go on my street,” said Grace. Hannan and I cheered in agreement. Jack left a joined his friends. We walked to Grace’s street. As we arrived on the dark street we shivered in fear. “I think we should go back,” Bella said. “Well, you can go back,” Grace said. Bella turned back. We kept walking we finally reached Grace’s house. We went to the house at the end of the street. All the lights were off we rang the doorbell. A zombie came to the door. “Here’s some candy.” An old lady with dark under her eyes and all black clothes said as she threw candy at us.“It’s is really dark.” Hannan said. It was a long walk back. “ We should take the path,”
This has to be the strangest day I ever had, as I arrive to Rutherford High School to look for my friends, my mouth gapes open when I saw no one in the building. I stand still, bewildered a million thoughts were running in my mind. “Is it Saturday, no it's Tuesday,” I say to myself as I glance at my phone. Its 7:30 am. Where is everyone? I look to see if I had any texts from my friends when I realize I have no signal. I stand there puzzled as I hear the soft crunch of boots on the dry fall leaves, footsteps coming closer and slower each time. The person, walking gave out a screech every few seconds, a sound so vicious and menacing that echoed through out the empty street. I turn around to see who made that noise. My heart pounded like a jackhammer
It was all going well before Alexis and Alice left. Their mom told them they could go by themselves since they both had phones. They were going as a devil and angel. They were so excited to finally go trick or treating by themselves. The clock struck 6 p.m. and they left for trick-or-treating.
Holly felt a new-founded hate for Halloween. It was already an annoying holiday, with children running around the streets and people dressed up in funny or scary costumes, but this was a whole new level. She was hanging out with her cousin, Johnathon, and his girlfriend, Sophia, when it was close to midnight. She was about to leave when they disappeared into the woods, and when she went to find them, she got lost. Stumbling upon a trail, Holly decided to forget about her friends, and take the trail out of the woods, then somehow get home.
I watched as the first orange hued rays of the sunrise wash over the dark and mysterious sky. The small glow travels across the wild blue yonder and starts to brighten up the deepest parts of the skyline and the town. Under the radiating sky there was no place of hiding, the light would finally hit you. This bright light brought the new day in, but it also brought dread to some.
"Wake up Alfred." My mom told me while i was sleeping. "You have to get ready for your first day of school."
The day continues like every other day but little did sally know this was going to be a different day for her. When sally got to 6th period she got a text from a random number it's said to come meet me at 3251 w 15.st ,sally was immediately freaked out by this. She showed all her friends during 6th period and asked them if they knew were that was john hurriedly googled the address and they discovered it was the haunted house they had been talking about earlier. She was planning on going but know she doesn't know because what if it's someone dangerous. She and her friends decided they were going to confront this person tonight. After School, she rushed home to get her things ready she packed pepper spray, a light, her phone, and a candle with matches. She was going to meet everybody at the house at 7. It was 2008 October 31st 12am in a hot damp room. Partiers drinking, dancing, drinking and eating. There were sexy costumes everywhere pumpkins, fairies, animals, princesses, nurses, and foods. Then you had your average costumes roman, monster, horse, Egyptian god or goddess. And you had your last minute costumes ghosts, boxes, and strategically wrapped blankets. There was one person left out a girl no one was talking to. She was wearing a rather mundane sexy bee costume, a very myriad stinger skin tight, black and yellow, and well you know. She looked depressed there but yet oddly in deep thought. She was thinking how this would be her last Halloween party in High School considering
It was the end of a normal school day. Our first home game was that day and I was pumped! I went home after school to get my jerseys and my squeaky clean, high top basketball shoes, then headed to the school shortly after. We were versing Ridgedale that day which I was almost 110% sure that we would win because the varsity last year creamed them. So we all get ready to go out and warm up, like usual. The game then started and we played really good I made 7 offencive and 5 defensive rebounds, and 2 points. After half time that game I was told to go dress for the varsity game. I felt really good about myself and I was ready to play more. So we were warming up like usual and then when the game started I was sitting on the bench until after half time. In the third
I didn't know what type of food we were having, much less what it was, I frankly didn't care even in the slightest. I walked down the steps into the basement, maybe I could come up with like a maniac looking chainsaw outfit, like a hockey mask, plus a chainsaw. No…The chainsaw was far too dull and rusty for the costume to look authentic. I turned away from that idea, I walked upstairs and into the kitchen, The Microwave, which was just above the stovetop, was covered in condensation. I watched my mother put a tray of water into the freezer, a tactic to create ice. My mother looked at the soured milk in the fridge, she frowned. Since the Royals had won yesterday, the remnants of the exploded gunpowder and trash of the fireworks lay on the street. I looked among the frosty streets, the dew from the night had been frozen over. I turned from the door and walked downstairs to the basement again, I decided On my suit, I had to bend a metal plate to reach the suit in which I would wear, maybe this year I would have a more flame retardant suit jacket. I walked outside, and put on the Obama mask. It would be a great halloween this year with my friends. I yelled to my mom “I am heading to the gang´s
About ten years ago in 2005, there was a boy in fifth grade named Jacob who was very honest all the time. One morning, he woke up and looked at his clock to check the time. “Oh no!” he shouted. “I’m going to be late for school!” Jacob quickly brushed his teeth, made his breakfast and ate it, left the house, and sprinted to school.
I remember one incredibly funny day from last year. It was the day I fell through the glass display case at school. Boy, I tell you that sucked so bad. I know for a fact I’ll never live it down. I’m known for being pretty accident prone so it was no surprise to people when they found out I was the one who had left the blood stain in the hallway.
