Are you a Junior or Senior high school student getting tired of not being able to get a job because school is too time consuming. There are many reasons why students should get paid to go to school. I believe that students should get paid your last two years of high school so the student can start saving up for college or be able to pay for there car. Also getting payed to go to school with help the students learn a sense of responsibility.
Frist of all the students don't have to be in school the last two years of high school instead they could drop out of school and find a job. So a reason a student should get paid the last two years of school is because they have to pay for college. Also to note college is getting more and more expensive.
money to pay for their education. Colleges are very expensive and need to start looking at it on the student perspective. Students who are graduating from high-school barely come out with less than $3,000 or less.WIENER, J. (2015) Not Every individual is able to pay for college and this just isn't fair. A high percentage of students are independent while in high school and are forced to work because of their parents low income. What happens to that student? Smart in academics, good athlete but because they cannot pay for their proper education they are forced to forget about their dreams.
Do you think secondary kids should get paid for going to school. I think they should because they could save it for college. Almost 62 percent of high school students can’t afford to go to college. If they got paid they would keep up their grades so they could get extra money. But you. Also have to be careful because they may use it for drugs or alcohol.
The prices the days College students are paying for higher education is atrocious. It is true that universities paint a beautiful picture in on pamphlets because at the end of the college is a business Instead of putting majority of donations to sports universities should them in financial aid to students and towards research. When deciding on a college, families should create a plan and see if it loan is manageable before taking it. Having debt can be a burden, but this will makes students more eager to actually want to get a job and remain focus on school. But I also do not feel college should be given to everyone for free because then a degree would be worthless. There would be an abundance of highly educated people working in jobs below
To foundationally break the question on whether student athletes should get paid or not, we need to ask ourselves if students should get paid in the first place. Students are the reason why many young adults go to college. Students are people attending a lesson willingly to learn a lesson. College and Universities are a place for students to learn and excel with the enormous resources that are available for students to utilize. Several of our brightest citizens of the world have been students. These people include Jeff Bezos (Amazon Founder), Mark Zuckerberg (Founder of Facebook), Marissa Mayer (CEO of Yahoo), as well as many other famous, and successful people in this world. All of these successful people went
Due to events in schools across the country, leggings have taken a sharp turn in dress code history. As females continued to wear leggings to school, parent organizations and administrations began to rethink their dress codes. Leggings, which are fitted stretch pants commonly made of spandex, cotton, or polyester, were the center of debate in many schools. They are considered pants, but are sometimes mistaken for tights, or pantyhose. Tights can also be referred to as leggings, but the terms are not interchangeable. Tights are often too revealing, however, leggings are not. Although schools consider leggings to be inappropriate, female students deserve the right to wear them to school because they shouldn’t be the cause of distraction to males, are a form of self-expression, and do not affect education.
It is a bitter, cold February evening, my wife and I are eating at the local McDonalds. The smell of the hamburgers and french fries surround us. Why are we eating here instead of eating at a real restaurant? I’m broke, and it’s all because I’m paying for kids that aren’t mine to get a good education. I believe I shouldn’t be forced to pay for school funding because I don’t even have a child!! I feel it is unfair because, it doesn't’ benefit me, the money isn’t going to good schools , and schools may be using this money for things that will not continue to help other students as well.
After school sports might be fun, but it is not helping the students at all. The games themselves might reduce stress levels; but it has been shown that schools tend to spend more on the fields and the bleachers then should actually be spent. A school was almost shut down because of the academic failures, but somehow still had equipment to play games. Therefore, schools should get rid of after school sports because they spend too much money on them, America is lacking academily compared to other countries, and they pay too much attention to the games.
Studies have shown that some kids who play sports cannot procure school as well, therefore falling bellow average grades. Very few students who do participate in sports can handle their homework load. Kids that do not have the best grades most likely flunk in high school or do not obtain a scholarship to go to college, or get a minimum wage job. Students should be required to maintain a certain grade point average to participate in sports. Therefore this requirement should be obtained in all schools.
Carol Dweck is a psychology professor at Stanford University who recently conducted an experiment on how students receive appraisal. This is what she found,
Kids should get paid for good grades because they will start reading more, in a school in Dallas, TX. They start to pay two dollars for each book kids read, they actually became better readers, they started to understand things better, the test scores begin to get highly raised up. The other people that are in the opposite side may say that, this is bad for young people and they will became interested and will just want to do the things just if there's money involved and they will, not do it if they don't get payed for what they do, and if they don't get payed or if they get late payed they will go down, but they are all wrong because probably, with all the things that they learn will keep going up. Don't you guys want your kids to subside in school?
To begin with, students will have lower academic performances. The source that supports that statement is the “Stanford Center for Youth Development.” “In the long run students will have lower academic performances.” This means that students will have a drop in grades when they don’t receive pay. If students only caring about the money it will be hard for them to catch up in the future. Clearly,
A student’s future should not be ruined because of money. An extensive amount of teenagers don’t go to college because of financial hardships. The real world has made it impossible for those who do not have a college degree to get a job. Going to college is expensive. There has to be a way to fix this.
Students should not have to receive payment in order to do well and be at school. Giving students such rewards would allow school to lose its initial meaning. School isn’t a place to be just so you get money. School is meant for people to learn so they can then go out into the world, get a job, and make money that way. School is not a job, it is a responsibility. If students are payed for school attendance and the grades they receive, said students will only attend school to receive the award.
Nowadays, it is pretty common to work while in college. Students have to pay for classes, books for those classes, room and board, food for the semester, and all the little expenditures that could rack up a bill. Most teens don’t even have all of the money to pay for everything up front and end up
American children today are being taught that they don’t need to put in effort to gain reward. Sport leagues today dish out participation awards to everybody who’s parents paid for them to be on a team. The kids who put in effort and really try to help their team are rewarded the same as the kids who don’t come to practice. Kids should not be given participation awards because these tokens of attendance demonstrate false ideas that you can win without effort, they destroy a team’s motivation to fight till they succeed and deflates the real winner’s sense of achievement.
