We have some concerns with the dress code. We think it should be updated. Girls are not allowed to wear athletic shorts anymore yet guys wear them everyday and people seem to not have a problem with that. We understand that we need limitations but it seems that like the dress code is mainly targeted towards girls. The dress code says that shorts need to be mid thigh but it doesn't state that we cannot wear athletic shorts at all. We understand that some athletic shorts are short for school but we don't think that it should be prohibited. The temperature is going up as the school year goes on, so girls are going to want to wear athletic shorts so we can be well situated in the school day and we could be more focused. Getting pulled out of class

Also, many middle schoolers complain about having to carry their stuff with them to all of their classes. It can get really annoying if things keep falling or sliding off. Another thing deals with the lockers. Some lockers are hard to get open and that can be frustrating. Especially when the bell rings and the lockers still won’t open. Having our backpacks with us would be so much easier.
Do you think kids should have to wear school uniforms? I don’t think so I mean what the fun in that? Kids wearing the same clothes over again and not being able to express our personality with our clothes. Kids should have the rights wearing what they want. Kids want to feel comfortable. Kids want to be happy and not have to wash their uniforms every night just for school.
Allowing guns on campuses has to be one of the most absurd solutions conceived to regulate safety. Firearms have no place in the hands of staff and students on campus. The idea is totally blown out of proportion because many universities actually considering concealed carry believe the impact will be less crime and more safety, but what exactly does it mean to allow a weapon on college property? People that are for campus carry argue that those with a firearm will be able to defend themselves against any incident that is bound to happen, but what happens when they pull out a gun? How will students, staff, or law enforcement react? Guns on campuses are not a good idea due to the fact students aren't fully mature enough to carry a weapon, they will become inhibited in

Why are so many students against locker searches? Locker checks are not done to invade a student's privacy but they are meant to ensure the safety of students by eliminating weapons entering the school grounds and prevent illegal activity such as the consumption of drugs, and trafficking. Locker checks are essential because malevolent students bring drugs and weapons to school and store them in their locker. When schools have locker checks they are prohibiting the possible, trafficking and drug usage, cheating on tests and quizzes, as well as possible school massacres such as the St Pius shooting in Ottawa on October 27 1975, or the Columbine High School shooting on April 20th 1999. With having school locker/personal searches situations, and illegal activity like this can be prevented making school a harmful place.
