The Holocaust will be a moment in history that will never be forgotten due to the many lives that were lost. Jewish people were tortured not being fed enough food, being forced to work under tough conditions, being beaten if even the slightest inconvenience to the Germans. There was overcrowding in the bunks, more than one family would be kept there, and many Jews were being tested on like rats by Nazi doctors.

The Holocaust is an event in history which will be entrenched within peoples’ minds for eternity; the Holocaust affected many people, including the Jewish, the mentally challenged, homosexuals and, prisoners of war (POW). There are several accounts from survivors of the Holocaust, but many, people were not as fortunate. The horrors from this event were hidden. Yet children like Anne Frank, were terribly affected. The holocaust has affected millions of people and their story should be known.

Without a doubt the Holocaust is often a difficult topic to discuss, but that should not be a valid reason to completely erase it from our past. It is a tragic piece of history that should be considered in large political decisions regarding race and war.

The dreadful holocaust should still be taught in public schools. There is no doubt about it. Its history and the rest of the world’s children have a right to know. Don’t you agree? Here is the catch though; the people of the world determine that our children are too young and too fragile to learn about this. The Holocaust was one of the most traumatic event that brought divesting news all over the world about how heartless people can be. The fact that Adolf Hitler led a territory of Germans to against the Jews has been the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If you think about it the Germans were trying to get rid of races. Let me take you a few years back, Hitler came up with a plan it’s called the “Final Solution”. The final solution is where Hitler felt any inferior towards the Jews. The Holocaust teaches us about racism and prejudice and that helps us prepare for the horrible things people will say about each other. This helps kids know the dangers for the future. The Holocaust was no mistake in history so we should learn about it. 8th graders need to learn about the Holocaust, because it helps them with their futures and tells them about the past, teaches them about prejudice and it let’s them engage and think about how it connects with them.

People should learn about the holocaust because it is a good life lesson for all of the young kids that want to make a difference. The Holocaust is good to learn about because it has had an impact on our lives, our history, and our country.

The Holocaust was a period of distraught, horrible acts of oppression and ultimately death. A time where most of us cannot revisit or relive. A time where our generation, cannot hear the screams and howls of pain for the many millions, who died for no other reason, than being themselves. Many did not believe in anything except for G-d, who would hopefully, one day, save them.

We must learn from history as it has a way of repeating itself. Studying the Holocaust is important so that we may realize if it ever starts to happen again and stop it before getting to the final solution. Remembering the hurt and trials that this population went through is the same reason that we remember those fallen in a battle or crisis. we must remember so they can live on in our memories and so that this event will never happen
