Simone biles had a very tough childhood. She and her siblings were put up for adoption at a very young age. Simone had always relied on her brothers to take care of her when she couldn't sleep or needed help. Finally, simones grandparent decided to adopt them. Simeone loved her grandparents very much. Simone loved that they had a huge trampoline that she could spend hours and hours flipping on. One day at daycare something changed her whole entire life, they were supposed to take a fieldtrip to farm but it unexpectedly started raining. The only place to go was a gymnastics gym. One boy said: ¨bet you can do a better flip than me!¨ Simones brother immediately shouted ¨oh yes she can, show him simone!¨ Simone immediately did a back handspring …show more content…
By the time simone was nine years old she competed level nine. Simones coach was at the point where she was learning with Simone. Simones was doing giants, until she flew off the bar landing her face nearly hitting the coach. Simone scream in tears ¨I'm not doing that again!¨ The coach replied ¨yes you are, get up.¨ Simone and the coach fought and fought until she would do it alone again. Simone made it to the 2016 Rio Decenario Olympics at age 16 and won a all around gold medal. Simone was very successful, and at times she wanted to quit but she never did, that's just how gymnastics is as it shows in the film I put together. Simone biles influenced and inspired many little girls around the world including the girl who is talking. I wish that someday people would say; ¨she's not as good as katelyn DeRaffele.¨ Like they say about Simone Biles. I'm so inspired by her and if I didn't know who was, gymnastics would not be in my life today. I quit gymnastics for a while and after seeing her and how amazing the sport can be I joined again. I would recommend this book to people considering that it shows all the bad points in her life and how she still became a awesome and wonderful

Gabby changed gyms and soon became the state champ in 2004 after only four years of formal training (Gabby Douglas). She continually won first at all of the meets (Gabby Douglas).Gabby’s mom noticed that her talent was becoming too much for the gym she was training at. After watching Shawn Johnson at the 2008 Olympics and being compared to Dominique Dawes, one of the greatest African American gymnast, she knew that the Olympics were a perfect fit for her (Schoeller, Martin). The only issue she had with getting to the Olympics was her current coaching. She needed to go to West Des Moines, Iowa to train Liang Chow. He is an elite gymnastics coach known for coaching Shaun Johnson and many other gymnastics icons. With Chow, Gabby could master the necessary skills to be able to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games. Gabby left her home at age 14. Her mom flew with her up to Chow’s Gym and scheduled a meeting with him. There Chow told Gabby that she would be living with a host family for the time she was in Iowa. At the gym that day Missy Parton introduced herself to Gabby as her her host mom (Douglas, Gabrielle). Missy took Gabby home and introduced her to her husband and three girls. Gabby and the girls hit

It took her a few times balancing and staying in place, but she had finally achieved what she was born to do. Her strength and victory grew, and it was only a matter of time before she had become one of the best surfers in the world. Bethany was an inspiration to all young surfers across the globe. Ever since I was six, I have been doing gymnastics. I started when I said to my mother “I want to do that” with my high pitched little kid voice as I watched the gymnasts fly around the bar. My little sister had started me on the path of gymnastics because, ironically my sister wanted to do gymnastics and I never planned on it. As my mom parked the car, all I could see was this tall and large building made of bricks
