I groan as Slughorn walks into the Potions Classroom, “Hello everyone.” he smiles. “So, today we will be working on notes, but before we start I’d like to discuss some issues that we had last year.” I could hear Sirius and James chuckle behind me, and Remus hung his head. “I didn’t think that I would have to explain this,” Slughorn sighed, “but no fireworks. Let’s just try and get through the year without disintegrating my desk.” James and Sirius bumped fists under the table. Slughorn droned on for about 15 more minutes about things like, “don’t switch potions ingredients, because last year, I had to send six 3rd years to the Hospital wing because of that, nothing too serious, but that’s not the point,” and “don’t draw in the books, or at least don’t make some of your drawings so… detailed.” I chuckle at the last one, I still remember Sirius spending so much time drawing a, um, yeah, in the book. It was funny, I’ve never seen him look so serious working on something before. …show more content…
Lupin, Miss. Mason, and Miss. Jackson.” Slughorn said peering down at a piece of parchment on his desk. I looked around, who is Miss.Jackson? I really need to pay more attention in class. I think with a slight frown. When Slughorn was finished reading off the new groups, he said, “Okay now get in your groups and start working on
"Relax, Children. You'll just be attending a boarding school to keep a mortal safe." He starts, not really blaming Percy and Annabeth for their reaction, after all they have been to Tartarus and back. As Chiron explains the situation, Percy and Annabeth relax, but Nico becomes tense.
“Welcome, class!” Mr. Ovid exclaims. “Please quiet down and take your seats. We have a very busy class ahead of us!” Once the class is seated, he quickly scans the room, taking attendance. “Miss Everild, where is Mr. Ives?” Before Morgen can answer, she is interrupted by the heavy classroom door being slammed open.
Ms. Summers expressed her confusion and concern with comments about the previous students and the previous professor. First, Ms. Summers shared with Jayne and Desiree how Dr. Beckenbach was very professional and pleasant to work with last quarter, so she didn't quite understand the comment, "this is the WIFE of the same professor you had to deal with last quarter." Second, Ms. Summers also shared how she enjoyed working with Kayla and David, so she is surprised to hear about their perception. Lastly, she expressed disappointed that Lyndsay is so upset though the site was fairly lenient in how they responded to the numerous
“I was not prepared for the entrance of Miss Hancock,” (228). The students in grade 10 did not behave or respect Miss. Hancock nearly as well as those in her previous grade seven class. Charlotte felt a wave of embarrassment and felt the need to hid, and that's what Charlotte did. She was hesitant, shy and did not exchange any sign or recollection towards her favourite teacher.
Albus pulled at his beard. “I dislike how he showed, but happy he did. I also remember a similar occurrence birthing a great Auror twenty years ago; let’s hope like father, like son. So, what did Ronald Weasley say for himself?”
“Welcome to Cross Point ladies, I am Mr. Banks, I will be your homeroom and history teacher this year.” He said formally towards them, he then gestured towards the rest of the class, “You may introduce yourselves now.”
As Angelica confidently strolled into Rosario High, Eliza and Peggy, her sisters followed close behind. Angelica had been at the school before, because she'd been taking a bus over to the high school for her advanced math class all throughout eighth grade. Eliza, however, had never been inside the building before and felt incredibly small walking in. Peggy wasn't even supposed to be there. She should've been in eighth grade, but she skipped it and went straight to high school. She was very smart, but no one ever noticed. She was always just Angelica and Eliza's sister. They made their way down wing 1B in search of their lockers. Peggy stopped at her locker, number ninety six, while Angelica and Eliza looked for their own. Angelica finished her search at locker number seventy stuff. Eliza found hers a bit farther down, locker 46. While she began to unpack her books, she saw four boys making their way down the hallway. One was the famous jock, Lafayette. No one knew his real name except teachers, because he insisted that it was to long to use. His friend, another jock who was very smart, however, Hercules Mulligan followed him down the hall. John Laurens, who was decent at sports, but more of a science guy was with them, too. Following them was the mystery man, Alexander Hamilton. He was in their grade, but barely anyone knew anything about him. Eliza figured he was just another jock.
“Hello,” the teacher said. The class echoed her monotonously. “I’m Mrs. McEversons. First we’re going to get to know each other.”
Our superintendent Mr. Copeland and our Principal Mr. Rud represent the school, other classmates taking notes like me and Mr. Verkaik was present, including Mrs. Martha Guerrero as secretary of Mr. Copeland during the meeting.
For three years she’s waited to get her favorite teacher Miss.Harriet, turns out it didn’t go as planned she was assigned to a different teacher, and was disappointed.
According to the book its anonmyous who these students are. Although the book doesnt say names, theres something about them that they all have in commen. These students have been through alot and have not had a happy life. They always had it bad, and didnt take the right path due to there dessiones. But this all changed when they all went into freshmen year and meet this beautiful young women named Ms.Gurwell. This teacher is always committed to her work and is always willing to help others through their roughest times. She would always ask her boss for fun rasiers, books, computers, etc. But it all seemed like everything she said was careless to the teachers, secutery, and even her boss. But not until one day when everything started to change.
“ Here is your uniform and ID badge Mr. Babbot please go sit down while we check the rest of the students in.” Babbot did as the lady said, but was curious as to whom she was. He had grown up in Winslow and thought he would know just about everyone working at the new academy, but he really could not recall any memory of this woman. Odd.
“Thanks for the reassurance guys,” Andrew said sarcastically while rolling his eyes and packing up to go to his next class. He meandered to his next class somberly while staring into the library, ogling at the enormous bookshelves that might have been higher than his life goals would ever be.
“This week is just full tragedies,” Brian said with suspicion. “Why do you say that Brian?” questioned Jennifer. “Alex is still missing, there were the two deaths at the beginning of the week, and now Griff strained and cut his ankle while he was in his track practice. He was jumping hurdles when he tripped over one thus injuring himself,” explained Brian. “He is also extremely sick,” added Evan. Then, Brian said further, “I bet it’s because of that sickening cut he got.” To get such a bad infection from his cut meant Griff was not going to fully recover. The group, distraught with their friend's sickness, decided they should send Griff a “Get well soon” card instead of visiting him, to avoid becoming sick themselves. “We should leave Griff
Billy took the south side of the bridge, Ryan on the north. Sending out rounds as fast as he could, Billy began firing into the horde of zombies that were now beginning to overcrowd the south side escarpment. “Do you see them?” he shouted. “No!” replied his brother between the alternating sounds of the shotgun fire.
