Soccer is the most influential form of act due to its stress relieving qualities, fitness and health improvements, and social aspects. Soccer is proven to be a worldwide phenomenon. It is a game played by two teams of eleven players with a round ball that may not be touched with the hands or arms during play except by the goalkeepers. The object of the game is to score goals by kicking the ball into the opponent's' goal. Many people throughout the continents have played soccer. In European and South American countries soccer can be known as football. Here in the United States, to avoid confusion, it is know as soccer. Though the names are not consists, there is one thing that is;soccer improves your health, fitness, and social abilities. At the same time, soccer is stress relieving. Many can agree that soccer, overall, is good for you. Many articles can support the claim that soccer can improve your health and fitness. According to Science Daily, “Soccer is a pleasurable team sport that provides all-round fitness and can be used as treatment for lifestyle-related diseases.” The article also states that soccer can relieve those with social anxiety and can create a worry-free atmosphere. In a study comparing soccer’s and running’s physiological, psychological and sociological aspects, soccer was shown to be most effective.
