Soda pop, he felt more love towards them because, no matter the sorrow or the arguing between them they were still family. Unlike if he had been living with is foster family, he may feel less loved and felt for, because they are not real family and they just met him.
Living in a foster home with a new family will probably make you feel nervous and not wanting to spend time with your new family. Pony boy moving away could cause him not to feel safe or not wanting to do new and fun things, therefore making him feel depression or anxiety. If he continues to feel this way, it could cause him to be very ill. Living in a foster home, Pony boy might feel depression, because he has missed his family and home town, where all his friends live and where all he ever knew was there. Depression is very bad for a person's heath and mind, but is worst for a teenager to experience this.

He is still in school, which means he would probably still stay in school if he had gone to a foster home. Pony boy is nice and has manners, if Pony moved with a new family had would still act the same, because he has already learned his behavior. If Pony does not want to move away from Darry and Soda pop, this could cause him to have a terrible attitude and be sad. While he lived with his real family he would smoke, drink, and get in fights, because he got in so many fights, Pony boy would probably still get in trouble in and out of
does Pony boy walk home alone, even though he knows it's not safe? Is he just making a
In this class, there is an argument about if Pony boy should go to foster care or if he still could stay under his oldest brother's care. In my opinion, I think Pony boy should go to foster care. The reason why I think he should, is because he is hanging with the wrong people. If he goes to foster care he would do better, because he would be away from bad influences. Hanging with the wrong people could get Pony boy in trouble with the law. He could go to juvenile, because one of his friends could have shot somebody and Pony boy could have been blamed for it. That is why I think he should go
Pony boy should stay with his family so he could be happier, and not leave his family. It would not be the same for any of them. I really think that pony boy should leave because he did not get into that much trouble, and really he was the good kid out of them all. There is a reason why he should go for foster care because. They do not have a stabled home, his brothers get into trouble, and I think that is a bad influence for him.
I think that pony boy should go into foster care because being around the greasers is messing with his life because they were always getting in fights or jail on the other hand they also look out for him based on my prior knowledge pony boy needs the guidance of adults and not the guidance of the reckless violent group of boys that get into jail every other day .
If Ponyboy did not get sick then he could have won his track tournament and would not have failed school. He even may have gone on to get a college scholarship. Then he could have gone on to make enough money to support himself and his 2 brothers. Overall Ponyboy’s life could have been changed drastically for the better.
In the outsiders, the first chapter introduces the main character, Ponyboy and gives a short history about him and his family. He designates the difference between the relationships between the members in his gang, and the relationship between both of his brothers. His parents were killed in a car accident, so that’s why he was just left alone to live with his older 2 brothers.
This causes many of these individuals to take on the mindset of, “why bother, I’m going to end up moving. This is not worth the investment of my emotion and my time” (Page 1104). Studies show that because foster homes are more often unstable than stable. In the Pacific Northwest, 65% of former foster children had attended seven or more schools beginning in elementary school through high school. Other studies show that children tend to lose between four and six months of educational progress per school change. Reasons being curriculum changes, teacher changes, and previous school records often don't transfer at all or in a timely fashion. Curriculum changes impose obstacles when a child in the third grade might have previously studied multiplication facts but in their new school they are studying division facts. When a child first joined the class with the new teacher, it can be difficult for the teacher to narrow down the child's capabilities, struggles, and learning styles. And finally, when a student's records don't transfer, he or she may be placed in an incorrect grade, causing them to struggle for reasons such as being behind and not understanding, or being ahead and being held back. All of these factors can discourage and leave children unmotivated to catch up. They increasingly fall behind and are less likely to catch up. These academic factors often times discourage students in their social life as well. They find it not worth their while to invest academically or socially. Activities such as ballgames, prom, homecoming, and graduation are all apart of a high school student's experience. Because of the emotional withdrawal of foster children, they are unlikely to attend these school functions, leading them to have even less to relate with other
To begin with, experiences that root anxiety, causes minors to have emotional detriments in foster care. The article, “Reactive Attachment Disorder of Infancy or Early Childhood”, by Jody Bower talks about an illness that hurts foster children’s emotive state. For example, not being able to trust others is an emotional disturbance among youth who obtain
In conclusion, I strongly trust my instinct that Ponyboy should have to go into foster care for a variety of reasons that all can not be explained. Ponyboy will have a much greater life in foster care. Reasons for that are he will have a better life, health, and will be paid more attention to then compared to what he had with his brothers. Because of these reasons, that is why I believe that Ponyboy should have to go into foster
Then again Ponyboy going to a foster care can be a bad thing. He could run away or go to a bad family. He could kill someone in the foster care or he could just turn out worse. Being in foster care can change a person in many ways and pony could turn out to be worse then he already is. He could like go to school one day then never come back. He could get himself killed like dally
In 2014, more than 22,000 young people aged out of foster care without permanent families, says abcnews.com/fostercare.com. This is only one of the many problems in the foster care system. Not only did they get aged out of the foster care but some didn’t get jobs and/or became homeless. "The child-welfare system failed Logan Marr in every possible way," said Richard Wexler, the executive director of the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform. "They failed her by ignoring her cries of abuse and they failed her by letting her die in that foster home." These are just two reasons why I think Ponyboy should stay with his family because they show him a type of protection and care and responsibility the system can’t.
Darry works two jobs to support their little family. Pony might get a bad family not all foster home or foster families are good. There are some cases of the kid go to foster care and the family not taking good care of them like not giving you the food you need. Foster families get money to take care of kids when your mama and dad are not able to care for you.. Pony will not have Darry to protect him from the family. If the family is not there for him, he can be a bad kid. The foster family may smoke or do drugs around pony,This type of behavior is what you are trying to keep him away from. Pony boy would have a better life with his family. Darry and Soda love Pony boy they are super close since there mother and father
Order in the court! In this case, whether or not Pony Boy should be placed in foster care or remain with his brother, Darrel and Soda, is determined. Foster homes can be a positive or negative impact on kids. Many kids are abused and treated unfairly for unknown reasons. On the other hand, kids can be joined with the most loving family ever. Some people suggested that Pony Boy should continue to live with Darrel and Soda. Others say that Pony Boy should be placed in proper care. It has been determined that Pony Boy should get placed in foster care because he will be in a better home, he will not be involved in gang violence, and he will have the opportunity to attend school more often.
First, a foster home would provide a healthy, stable environment for Ponyboy. For one thing, he would be able to walk home without fear of being mugged by a hoodlum or rival gang. To ensure adequacy, foster homes are regularly checked. Although some may argue that the "greasers" would protect him, they often fight among themselves using weapons such as switchblades.
The second reason is that he needs a support system. Ponyboy has been through a lot, and he needs his brothers to help him through it. He needs the Greasers to help him through it too because they understand his pain. If he were removed and put in a foster system, he would have nobody that would help him through losing his two of his closest friends. Nobody would understand how he felt because
