Alligators on a Train As I am waiting for the baby train to pull up to the train platform over the loudspeaker I hear, “ Anyone waiting for the train it will be late due to a stampede of moose on the train tracks.” So as I’m waiting I look down the tracks and see the stampede of moose running towards me, so I pull out my laser gun from my pocket and start shooting at the stampede. When I kill all the moose the baby train rolls in and runs over all the moose throwing the moose all over the place. I step onto the train getting ready to leave Detroit, Michigan, and going somewhere I don’t know where I’m going... When I board the baby train I walk past many taken seats, so I go all the way to the back and

The reason I’m on the baby train is to get my new awesome sick house. It’s at a place in Oregon called Gravity Falls. The reason I got this new house is because I was in a gang and another gang bullied my house and destroyed it. It will take me 2 weeks to get to Oregon, and right now I’m in just leaving Michigan and entering Indiana. The man starts to sing Christmas music now and now he singing louder than he was before. Just as he started singing we went down the steep mountain and the man didn’t have his seatbelt on. I tried to warn him but he couldn’t hear me because of his loud singing. I had to hurry and put the man’s seatbelt on before he died, and as I was putting his seatbelt on the train hit a hard right. Luckily I put the seatbelt on just in time and then continue looking out the …show more content…
As I get bored of looking out the window I pull out my comic book called, “The Flash.” As I start to read the 300 page book I flip through the pages to see what it’s about. I’m reading this book because right before I shot the alligator, he gave me this book for buying his candy canes. When I start to look at the pictures I see that the Flash is the fastest man in the world, and he was struck by lightning. The Flash got his superspeed from the lightning he was struck by, and he was in a coma for six months. After 2 hours of reading “The Flash” I finish it and put it in my bag, after standing up to stretch I look at the man to see he has fell
6) and this immediately made me think of a TV series called The Flash. The Flash created by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and David Nutter is a show about a man named Barry Allen. Barry’s mom (Nora Allen) was murdered when he was young, and Barry thought that he saw a man in a yellow suit flashing around and then he saw that man killed his mom. Barry then became a forensic scientist to find the “man in the yellow suit” and remove his father (Henry Allen) who was blamed for the crime from prison. One late night, Barry was struck by lightning and hit by a wave of dark matter at the same time which gives him the ability of super speed to save Central City from evil “metahumans” that were also created by this incident. The reason I think that this quote reminds me of The Flash is because part of the story of The Flash is that he is the impossible. He doesn’t know how, he just is. In the first episode of The Flash, you can hear a voice over of Barry say “To understand what I’m about to tell you, you need to do something first... you need to believe in the impossible… My whole life I've been running. Usually from
Many people consider hunting dangerous. This is not necessarily correct. Before any person is legally allowed to hunt in most states, they must undergo a required
The topography of the island is also of note. The west end of the island features a closed-canopy forest with more hardwood trees. The east end of the island is better characterized as a “boreal forest,” a term used to describe regions that are mostly covered by coniferous forests. It is good to note that the balsam fir is found on both ends of the island, but that samples used in the study from the west end of the island were, on average, older, but shorter, than those samples found on the east side of the island.
I was riding my horse, in bad conditioned weather, it was raining and snowing with a little bit of ice on the ground. I was just minding my own business then I hear 3 bells the first one is a little loud, the second one was medium loud, and the third one was extremely loud. I started panicking and so I tied my horses reign to the hitch. I started panicking everyone was riding in their wagon trying to get home, but I stopped to see what was going on in then I see John with a musket and I tell everyone to go home and lock their doors because this wasn’t going to end well. I went up to him and asked him, “what are you doing man, what is wrong with you, why are you doing this?” He replied and said, “I don’t know.” Then I said, “what do you mean?” he replied and said, “I don’t know what is wrong with me I think I need to go see a doctor because I don’t feel right at all I don’t even own this
At age 17, a muzzle loader elk hunt in Nevada was one of the coolest things that could have ever happened to me. And a muzzleloader tag for the Jarbidge Wilderness Area 072 was one of the most awesome places for it to happen.
Camp Middle Moose was one of my best days ever! It's one week of awesomeness! I get to try new things next year, and then try other things in the next. One week you get to spend at Camp Middle Moose, it's so exciting! It might be a drag from doing a lot of things that you are not used to, but you can get over it in a day, just have fun.
The Metis, and first nation’s peoples are very well known in Canada for being the first on lots of Canadian land of today; more well-known was Rupert’s land that they lived on for many years then changed to Manitoba. They live in Manitoba still, then moved to Saskatchewan, and to Alberta also. The Metis are the offspring of French-Canadian fur traders and native women. A mixture of European and indigenous ancestry They brought together a proud culture of both people they descended from, even though through hardships the Metis still remained, and became one of the greatest living cultures in Canadian history.
Moche the Beadle’s ideas of what is important are mastering the art of being nonexistent and focusing on one’s own path. The narrator observes, “Nobody ever felt embarrassed by him, Nobody ever felt encumbered by his presence. He was a past master in the art of making himself insignificant, of seeming invisible” (Wiesel 13). In other words, Moche never made anyone embarrassed or weighed down by his presence, a he is beyond mastery of being insignificant. Moche the Beadle’s ideology is to not be a threat and existence was better than to be known. What is to be learned is to focus on purpose instead of acknowledgement. Also, Moche believes, “There are a thousand and one gates leading into the orchard of mystical truth. Every human being has
Moche the Beadle has personal importance. Moche gives his importance, by presenting Eliezer with tellings of his own life. The story describes Moche, “Nobody ever felt embarrassed by him, Nobody ever felt encumbered by his presence. He was a past master in the art of making himself insignificant, of seeming invisible” (Wiesel 13). Nobody ever feels embarrassed by him, nobody feels weighed down by him being there. He, no longer what he was in the art of making himself not useful, but seeming invisible. Being a past master in the art of being insignificant is an irony, because an art presents significant messages about different people. Being insignificant can be significant to someone else, because one has to look for different routes to find
In the ecosystem organisms rely on each other for food and protection. The Food chain is like a pyramid you have the producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers, and quaternary consumers. It’s an almost perfect balance and if any level were to just stop existing then the food chain would be destroyed. An example of organisms relying on others is an issue of isle royale were the wolves and moose population are in jeopardy. This relationship is important because without the other animal the population would die.
The evolution of modern medicine and technology are increasing the average lifespan causing an increase in populations which increases the demand for resources. Particularly impacting animals by destroying forests and food sources essential to survive causing animals to patrol areas once believed to be wilderness. This situation occurs in “The Bull Moose” by Alden Nowlan, the moose after traveling stumbles upon a farm, experiencing fatigue the moose rests. While resting, the townspeople gazed upon him and interact with him like a domesticated animal. As the moose stands its ground, the officer takes aim and fire his rifle. Also in “Bear 71” directed by Jeremy Mendes and Leanne Allison, a bear after being trapped and subdued in Banff
Is it human nature to deny evil and believe in good? Or should we expect the worse so we don’t get hurt? People want to have the satisfaction and comfort in believing that everything is good and nothing could go wrong. I believe that everyone has the instinct to deny evil. They automatically have the mindset of ¨Oh, that could never happen to me,” or ¨How or why would anyone be capable of doing such a thing?¨ This mindset is shown in the beginning of night when everyone refuses to believe Moshe the Beadle, ¨He's just trying to make us pity him. What an imagination he has!¨ People almost go into this defensive mode where they get angry at people for saying such ¨lies.¨
We had a great plan, we decided to go explore the fourth room of the basement. Once inside we started climbing and playing with the elliptical. I looked over to the treadmill and said to jerry, “I’ve got a great idea. Why don’t we get on the treadmill with only our socks on and run as fast as the treadmill can go and then jump off.” Now jerry was only a year younger than me but he of course thought it was a great idea. So, we each took our shoes of and stood on the treadmill, the treadmill itself was relatively old and was so close to the wall. We stood there not thinking of the consequences of our actions, looked at one another and grinned a big grin. I turned the knob slowly, we started speed walking the running and running faster till we were panting, the knob was on fast burn the fastest setting on the treadmill. Jerry jumped off, me on the other hand tripped over my socks, I fell and the treadmill still on the fasts setting pushed me up against the wall my neck to the back of the treadmill and my legs bent over my head like a contortionist. I screamed and screamed. My cousin sat there in silence watching this horrid event unfold before him, all the color flushed from his body. I screamed and yelled at jerry to go get help as I attempted to reach for
Dogs started off as a wild wolf and from there genetically mutated into these larger breeds that are used for deer hunting today. These larger breeds of today still have the wolf like, hunting instincts that are used to track scents of deer in the woods.
Our wagon train just kept on moving. As we were moving along George and Juan decided to go hunting. When George was getting his hunting supplies out the gun slipped from his hand, and he accidentally shot my foot. I was in so much pain until I got my first aid kit, and pulled the bullet out. Then the two other women in the other wagons came over to help me. I got some medication in there, and wrapped it up. I can still walk but not very fast, and I’m going to use a tree limb to help me. After a while George and Juan came back with a bison. After setting up for the night, all of us ladies started making the bison. We had the men skin it and decide how much we were going to make. We placed the meat in a pan and placed it over the fire to cook.
