I chose Liberty University because I want a better future and I want to have a closer relationship with God. I want to grow spiritually and I like that Liberty University is a college based on religion. Their online programs are great and encouraging. Liberty has excellent academic programs. Their online programs are flexible and offer many degree programs to choose from online. The staff and faculty are friendly and care about your success. When I decided to become an engineer, I thought hard on what that entailed. I saw myself working on hands on projects with a skill and proficiency that I could truly be proud of. That's why after listening to the presentation for Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology in my freshman year here at Texas A&M I knew that this major was the best fit for me. The mentioning of learning how to manufacture and produce things from conception to finished product was very exciting to me. I also appreciate that the education is very application oriented rather than just teaching theoretical content. I feel that this directly prepares one for a future career in industry and this sense of job security is what really attracted me to this engineering

At this point in my college career, I have reached the limit as to what the Miami-Dade Honors College can offer me. So far I have pursued an Associate in Arts degree in Biology and am looking forward to the next step in my education. My experiences here have allowed me to grow heavily both as a student and an individual, but I am limited in the amount of resources currently available to me. For example, I do not have the variety of courses and study abroad opportunities that four-year college students have. Hence, I have taken all the science and math courses towards my associates degree at Miami-Dade College, but I am left to explore other options to continue to advance my preparation for a career in the science field. Who we are is a concoction of our life journey, relationships, tastes, goals, and countless other things. I am a family girl from Mexico who is a first generation college student. My family is the greatest part of who I am. They would give and do anything for me and vice versa. Life has brought me to the construction science program at Texas A&M and I could not be more excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Texas A&M Corpus Christi’s location as well as the atmosphere attracted me to the campus. I grew up in a small town and when I visited the campus I felt at home. I was in awe when I toured the nursing department and observed the demonstrations. I would like to apply for the biomedical science, nursing or health science program and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.

Texas A&M, ranked 20th in the top public universities in the U.S., will give me an opportunity to learn in the engineering field.

After high school, I am going to attend Texas A&M to get an undergraduate degree in public economics and after that I will pursue further education at the Texas A&M Law School. I am going to get a degree in law so that when I graduate I can be a partner in my family's law firm. For the past couple of years I have toyed with the thought of either going to join the marines or being a lawyer but in the end I came to the conclusion that becoming a lawyer was the best bet for me; three generations of my family have done it and I would like to fill their shoes and carry out tradition.

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is an excellent place to create a better future for myself and for my community. At this University I can make others around me strive to be the best they can be by bring my unique passion and communication skills to campus. When I was a child I was very shy and quiet and now I have realized how much I have grown. After being in high school working on group assignments and joining extracurricular activities, I have built a great relationship with the students in my high school. Before deciding to become a physician and surgeons, a person needs to know what is required . In order to become a physican and surgeons in Texas requires that a person must have a doctoral or professional degree . Praire View A&M University ( PVAMU ) is the college I want to attend in this college they have a program called " college of nursing " graduate program requires a person to first have a application for admission and official transcript covering all periods of enrollment with a satisfactory completion of a basic statistics course and a health assessment course . Next a person will have to have a 3 letters of recommendation from professional nurses , make sure out of one of which nurse must be from a former nursing faculty . Then

The college of my choice is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University located in Prescott, Arizona. Embry-Riddle is exactly 1,869 mi from where I reside and it would take me 1 day and 7 hours if I decided to take a road trip there instead of getting a plane ticket. I choose Embry-Riddle University because I did a virtual tour of their campus and it was beautiful,the buildings and the outdoors of course. Also they have an amazing aviation program to help me become a pilot and students of 2018 that attend this program say that the teacher take the time to help you if you need it.

As a dedicated, hardworking, and energetic individual there are several qualities I could bring to the table at Baylor University. To name a few, I could be a great addition to the community service and involvement not only on campus, but in the Waco metropolitan area, because I’m passionate about giving back. My experience in community service throughout my life includes a local service club, Changemakers, my school’s Leo club where I volunteered to make props for my town’s Christmas festival, at concessions in several elementary school fairs, and running our school’s recycling program, shows that I work hard to serve my community.
