Acting is a way of escaping the world we live in. Acting will help me escape my own world. Wayland Baptist University, Home of the Pioneers will help me in my future acting career and will help me with scriptwriting.

I believe that the mission of providing an excellent education for all students is one that is perfectly aligned with my past and future. Growing up I in a lower socioeconomic environment in Dallas, Texas I became the first person in my family to go and finish college. After obtaining my Bachelor in Psychology, I then became the first person in my family to go to graduate school. YES Prep believes that there is a transformative academic and social benefit for students when their teachers and leaders reflect a diversity of backgrounds and I believe that I can do just that. Working with YES Prep will help me help those who are like myself and more. I have always had a knack for helping others and this would be a great opportunity to continue

I believe Marist is a good match for me because it offers many it offers an excellent business program. The student activities that are offered are another reason why I’d like to go to Marist. I’m interested in the business club especially and by being involved in that club I believe it would lead me in successful path in my career. The trips the clubs takes to New York City interest me because by seeing the companies their I’d have more knowledge of what real life business in the career I choose looks like. The average classroom sizes are relatively small, which not many colleges or universities offer and I think that it very important in order to get the best education possible. My attention was to search about universities and the opportunities they provide for their students. I looked for college that makes me feel part of a something big and not about me graduating from the university. After researching on a couple of colleges, I chose Texas A&M as my top university to enroll in the coming fall semester. I have always had an interest in engineering majors, especially chemical engineering, because of laboratory experiments and learning about new chemicals. I have always been waiting for the day I could become a senior to be able to apply to the university I had always dreamed of enrolling. Over the years, I had heard about Wake Forest simply from living in North Carolina, from hearing about their sports teams, and from knowing several people who attended Wake Forest. As I began my college search throughout high school, looking for a college that fit what I was looking for, I kept running into Wake Forest. I decided that I really wanted to apply to Wake Forest because, after looking into the school more and talking to some friends that currently attend, it seemed exactly like the college that I would love and be honored to go to. Middlesex community college has impacted me tremendously as a scholar and as a human being. Middlesex community college provides a friendly environment which encourages me and other students to be creative. I met new friends. I had the chance to help the community by volunteering through the student and engagement office. Most important I had the chance to express myself and sharing my experience and story as a human being. The faculty, staff, and counselors are extremely helpful. They work with us to make our goals are achievable. I glad that I did the decision in attending Middlesex community college.

Having a plan about what to do with your future is an essential part of being successful. This plan could be as simple as going into the workforce right out of high school, or going to further your education. A plan should revolve around your personal career choice. A two step education plan to pursue a career as a bakery owner is the best choice for me after high school, even though some may argue against it.

There are many reasons I picked Hutchinson Community College to attend this semester. The first reason was for sports. I obtained my Associate’s degree in Education at CUNY Medgar Evers College, after which I decided to take a semester off to work full-time. Life comes at you fast when you graduate high school, so you will need to be prepared. To be prepared you must make a plan for your future, but just in case you might want to have a backup plan. My plan is to attend Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa where I will major in Sports Management, and minor in Communications. I want to study Sports Management in hopes to one day be a college basketball coach, but in case that plan doesn’t work I am minoring in Communications to be a sports broadcaster. I feel I am well prepared because my teachers here at Fair Play have taught me how to apply myself, manage my time, and set goals for myself.
