UW LaCrosse and I have a vision. I, similar to UW LaCrosse, always work to look for the cutoff points of nature by surpassing everyone I can and making everything a slight challenge. As a beginner researcher, it was this drive that brought me to the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse. Up to that point I had been taking lots of advanced placement courses, on my alone time I've found myself to be quite interested in biotechnology, one I presently couldn't seem to look into on any other terms. My time at north high school, taking part looking for a full-length look to explore at that level, I felt more alive, more connected with, than I at any point had previously taken what I have learned so far at north. Learning has been so different for me ever since I learned about biotechnology, I couldn't have been more satisfied. I strive to work with the different gathering of students that LaCrosse has to offer and who likewise share my attitude. They, similar to me, are there in the fact that LaCrosse regards the estimation of assorted variety. I know from individual experience that with a specific end goal to accomplish in,with motivation, and achievement that LaCrosse esteems, new individuals are expected to make a conscious domain for these qualities. I feel that my experience will give a creative point of view in the college's scan for information while helping it to build up a reason for future achievement. Furthermore, that is the best goal I can
One of many aspects that I look for in school is the cultural appreciations and value of individuals. My intended major is an International Studies, which requires me to broaden my views and think beyond what we see. So when I was looking through the schools, the George Washington University definitely captured my attention. The George Washington University is one of the most diverse school in the United States and encourages many students to join the community. I was very thrilled to see the cultural events and volunteer activities are the priorities in school, because I always look out for an opportunity to help the community. I am more than willing to be part of the Nashman Center and serve for others.
As a University of Delaware student, I will feel most comfortable with the academics and the ice hockey rink. My high school is very rigorous academically. There have been many nights where I have had a lot of homework and studying to do. Although I found it challenging, I am very organized and have become accustomed to a heavy academic workload. Therefore, I think my high school has prepared me well and I will be ready to meet the challenges at University of Delaware. When I am not hitting the books, I will be trying to hit the ice as much as I can. I have played ice hockey since I was ten years old. I love everything about the sport and have spent many hours on the ice. I had the opportunity to play in a tournament at the University of Delaware a few years ago. Although I won’t be playing Division 1 hockey, I look forward to continue skating perhaps with club or intramural level hockey.
Over the years I have worked diligently for countless hours to become the best lacrosse player that I can possibly be. In turn this has provided me with the opportunity to be a student of Duke University which is a incredible honor. However, now that I have the opportunity to go to Duke and play the game I love I want to have the opportunity to better myself as a person off the field and put a positive effect on others around me. To have the chance to be able to learn from some of the best if not the best collegiate staff is unimaginable to most. I plan to take full advantage of the knowledge and wisdom that the Duke coaches as well as Professors and even Alumni have to offer. I know that In the end, I will come out with a degree, and
Over the years, I had heard about Wake Forest simply from living in North Carolina, from hearing about their sports teams, and from knowing several people who attended Wake Forest. As I began my college search throughout high school, looking for a college that fit what I was looking for, I kept running into Wake Forest. I decided that I really wanted to apply to Wake Forest because, after looking into the school more and talking to some friends that currently attend, it seemed exactly like the college that I would love and be honored to go to. Wake Forest has impressed me with its academics, its campus and community, and its small and personal learning environment. Getting an education and spending a few very important years of my life at Wake
The purpose of the article, “Staying on Top” is to explain the key factors of the Syracuse University men’s lacrosse team success. The philosophy that the coaches believe will best benefit the players and the foundation of strength and conditioning program are critical to secure the Syracuse Orange spot as champions. Like many other sport coaches, the training program is never set because players needs to be motivated with different type of exercises and not all players are on the same level. The training program is divided into four phases, each focusing on a different concept to develop players strength, endurance, power, technique,
From growing up, I have always been curious. It is in my nature to know everything about something that seems to catch my attention. The Church Educational School that I'd be grateful and fortunate to attend would be Brigham Young University, Provo. As I went into high school, Byu Provo was the first university I heard of that caught my attention instantly after hearing my professors talking about it. One of the important reasons why I want to have the chance to attend this university is because of the ability to go on a mission and look forward into knowing I will have an education waiting for me to come back home too. Over the years, I also realized that Brigham Young University offered a lot more than just waiting for me when I came back from my mission. Provo gives me a variety of choices of majors to choose from. It provides me with a lot more options to be curious
As I was growing up, James Madison University has been a college that I always planned on attending. On road trips, I would always get excited as we would pass through Harrisonburg. My dream is to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and after further research, I feel like James Madison is the perfect place to fulfill that dream. In Lacrosse I’ve been playing JV since I was a sophomore. Its a physical sport involving a lot of teamwork. We often need to keep the younger players up to speed and learn the game quickly so the upperclassman involve and teach them as much as possible. Its not easy sometimes but we always have fun. In addition to all this, I am the Captain of the Bass Fishing Team. Its a recognized IHSA sport that has many schools in Illinois competing against each other. You might say fishing is easy all you do is throw a bobber in and wait for a bite. Well thats not the case from my experience. To compete at all you need to know what lures to throw in different conditions. Depending on water depth, water clarity, high or low pressure, water temperature, and wind you may need to throw different lures to optimize the chances of getting that bite. My leadership role within this is to help teach my knowledge of the sport on to the team to help them in the future. From what knot to tie to how to run a boat I have done it all. My high school career has been hectic to say the least trying to juggle all the different activities I do, but the end result is me
I believe that everyone the potential to make a difference in this world; it is just so that many don’t have a support system to push them towards achieving a goal. Kids from the beginning are perpetually convinced that they are worthless and that they could never be successful. Fortunately, I am blessed with a community who gave me the confidence to discover that I can achieve whatever I wish for in life; that group of people is UCLA Unicamp. UCLA Unicamp is an organization that strives on changing kids lives’ from all over Los Angeles. UCLA students volunteer as counselors and take the campers up the mountain to Camp River Glen for one week. Unicamp has many programs directed towards different life skills and the one I enrolled in was Unicorps; Unicorps is based on learning the value of community service and leadership.

During my time at California State University Channel Islands I was living on campus, my father passed away from cancer in that first year. It is reflected in my academics the hardship of facing death as a teenager away from home. Though it has taken years to find myself, I am happy to say that my academics as well as my physical and spiritual health have rebounded and improved. I hope, though my grades suffered early on in my college career, Mount St Mary's University will be able to see the successes, motivation, and goals I have for my future.
In school and in my community, I am working towards my goals. The College of Letters and Science is providing me with the resources that I need to succeed. I believe the University of North Carolina at Wilmington would be a perfect fit for me in every way. In the future I would like to become a physician and I believe that UNC Wilmington would be the best match to enable me to reach this goal. UNC Wilmington has an amazing biology department which will help me meet my prerequisites for medical school. Along with this UNC Wilmington offers a pre-health program which will help me significantly on my journey towards being a physician. UNC Wilmington is also one of the few schools that offers a neuroscience minor. I have been interested in neuroscience for a long time and would love the opportunity to study the subject in college. UNC Wilmington was also an amazing fit for me because I felt at home
