Success Definition Essay

To me success is accomplishing the goals, doing things the right way, and doing what you love.

Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success". For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. For me, I also have my own definition for the word "success". When I was a kid, I really want to be a scientist, but after I become mature, my thinking has become more mature and my definition of success also

I define success as trying you're hardest no matter what and persevering through everything that you try. You may not get through the problem that you are having. Even though you didn't complete the challenge that you were having if you got as much out of the task that was placed in front of you, then you have succeeded. I also define success as when you set a goal for you're self or someone else sets a goal for you. If you reach that goal or go above that goal that was set, then you have succeeded. I believe that success is not just finishing you're work, test or challenge, if you finish it but do not do you're best and try you're hardest, then I believe that you are not successful in what you just did, but if you go as hard as you can, not

The definition of success is in the eye of the beholder. More than three-fourths of your life is spent working to become successful. People are told during childhood to work as hard as they can so they can grow up and make lots of money. But the word success can be taken in many different ways. Everyone has a different understanding of what success means to them. Generally, success means fulfilling the goals that you set for yourself. For some, success is measured by popularity and riches; for others success is determined by the amount of happiness that they feel.

“Success” is a term that is a part of our daily life. It can be defined in a variety of ways, such as achievements, awards, and college degrees. Some will even deem success as having a family, having a well-paying job, or even feel that living an uncomplicated life of contentment. But in the world that we live in today, there is not a set definition of success to go by. Only you as a person can give the meaning of success.

As it is commonly used, the word "success" is sometimes synonymous with another word — "winning." Success is beating the other guy and getting the big salary. Success is what happens when other people think you're a success or when you can convince them of it.

What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.

Many people describe success as being wealthy and famous. That isn’t exactly the case though. Lots of well-known celebrities do not even enjoy what they’re famous for. A famed person could not be satisfied with their life, while someone who doesn’t have as much is very positive. Success can be a little bit different for everyone, but there are some specific qualities every truly successful human have. Some of the ways success can be defined is a person loves what their occupation is, they have achieved their goals, and they are financially stable.

Most dictionaries define success as ‘the attainment of popularity or profit.’ However, the meaning of success is different for everyone. For an average teenager, success may simply mean obtaining a college degree and getting a job, whereas for the children in Africa, it may mean to obtain clean water, food, and shelter. Success cannot be defined by ‘popularity’, ‘wealth’, or ‘superiority’; it is defined by happiness, which can only be accomplished by pursing one’s passions, to obtain respect, and being compassionate.

Doing the thing that we liked, and living for ourselves is the real success. Every people want to be successful, but, there are many different criteria of success. To some people, they simply think that the success is just get a lot of money, because, people have money they can get anything which they wanted. A few people think the success is people can do what they want to do and they can live freely, that is freedom. Success is not just contained in the physical plane, it depend on people desire. For me, success is not very difficult to get, I do not fully agree that success is people have a lot of money, but I discovered the different success in the stages of my life when I was growing up.

Americans are looking for the greater things in life. Everyone seems either unhappy with their jobs, or just do not have one, but then there are the few Americans that do what they love five days a week. The concept of success is misunderstood massively throughout the world. The idea of it is tossed around, because of how people see it. Different people have different perspectives of success. The term success can be defined in many ways whether it be by how much money a person has, the type of job a person has, or they are successful just by the expectations they set for themselves. Success can be accomplished through motivation, opportunity, and patience, not all of these are easy to obtain, but in due time they will prevail.

I define success as if one has achieved a certain goal put in place by themselves or by others or even just a part of that said goal. I know that I am successful when I'm at a place I want to be in life no matter what job, income, or family life, if I'm a place where I feel happy and proud of myself, then I'm successful. But to be honest, I don't know where that is for me, I don’t have any goals that I want to obtain yet, I just want take it day by day and just see what happens and then make a decision for my future based on what’s happening in the present, I don’t like to think of a long term goal because everything changes, nothing is a guaranty.

If a person has good education, he or she can choose their careers and be successful at it.
