MONTCLAIR, NJ – December 11 , 2017 “The Black Suffragist: Trailblazers of Social Justice”, which is being produced and directed by filmmaker, Jennifer Rolle, explores the role and contribution of 19th-century African-American women within the women's movement movement. Films that are directly related to the women's suffrage are rarely produced in the movie industry. And those that feature women of color are fewer still.
