I read the graphic novel book Drama by Raina Telgemeier. This book has 240 pages. According to a customer review on Amazon,” No nagging to read with this book’’. I say Drama is recommended for ages 10-14. This is because it can be a little mature for kids.
The protagonists in the book is Jesse, Justin, and Callie. Callie is a theater enthusiast, she doesn’t give up, and a problem solver. Callie has purple hair and she is wearing earrings. She is energetic, hardworking, and brave. Jesse is one of the twins and the boy that Callie likes. He has brown short hair and tall. He is shy, funny, and friendly, outgoing, and down to earth. Justin is in love with theater and

Then, the stage crew managed the budget of the play. Next, the cast fight during the play ( Moon Over Mississippi). Finally, Jesse, Callie, and Justin go to the dance. The conflict is that Callie is the set designer. She is trying to make a set like how it is on Broadway on a budget. Callie doesn’t think she can do it because she doesn’t have the carpentry skills. The ticket sales are going down and the stage crew aren’t working together. Callie feels like she is in the middle of the everything and she doesn’t know what to do. The resolution, the play is done and Callie is under pressure and she’s elected president of the stage crew. The authors lesson is that you always have to try again even though you don’t succeed at first.
I really liked Drama. In fact, I rate a 10 on a scale from one to ten. I liked the plot, the characters, and has all the ingredients for a great book. I especially loved the ending. The cliffhanger was when Bonnie ran off stage they didn’t have a female lead, so Justin played Bonnie’s
This book was very interesting. The book had a lot of drama and I really enjoyed it. Although, the book ended on a cliffhanger, I still really liked it. There was conflict throughout the book with Ethan and his family. His family thought that things would go back
Characters: The main character is Jayson Barnes. Jayson is 12 and enjoys basketball. He meets a friend named Zoe at his new school.
Darcy is the main character, Jamie is Darcy’s sister and Hakeem is Darcy’s boyfriend/ ex boyfriend, Tarah is her best friend. Copper is Tarah’s boyfriend and Liselle and Brain are brother and sister. Now you know everybody in the book. Every character in the book plays a very special part in it. They make the plot special and unique in its own way.
He really made the audience believe that he was truly in love with Evalina through his expressions and the way he acted around her. I could see in the way he looked at the actress who played Evalina that he admired her and her presence. The actor who played Spunk had a very good singing voice and guitar skills. I really enjoyed watching him act as he was using his real life talents throughout the play. I did believe the characters to an extent. The dialogue was very realistic, but the way some characters delivered their lines was not adequate. On a scale of one to ten, the rating I would give the cast is an 8. The voices and overall acting was a lot better than I expected coming into the play. I cared a lot about what happened to the characters. When Spunk was fighting against Jim Bishop I did not want him to get hurt. When he came out with a wound I felt bad for him. I could also see the fear in Evalina’s eyes when she saw Spunk. The ending made me happy because I wanted Spunk and Evalina to be together and really cared for them. The choreography was blocked very well. The dances were very in sync and the positioning of the actors was successful. There was a lot of time in between scene changes and the directing did a good job of filling this time gap. When the narrator, Zora, came on stage, the actors were good at freezing in place while she spoke. I could tell that several hours and
The family is faced with conflicts, particularly amongst the siblings as they seek to establish whose dream is superior. It becomes more difficult for Lena to make the right decision in the midst of the conflict because her wish is to please everyone. The play is about the black family that struggles with racial prejudice and economic hardship. The underlying importance of the play is in the way it shows the value of dreams, importance of family, and racial discrimination.
There are a lot of characters, but i’m going to only name three, Guy Montag, his job is a firefighter who burns books but mentally likes books, he is a protagonist, and a person who changes society. Clarrise, she was spotted by Montag at night. Clarisse likes to talk, and is always in a good mood. She was always considered “ the crazy girl “. Clarisse enjoyed nature, but one night she was hit by a car and died. The third character is Faber, Faber is an old college professor. Faber acts different and knows a lot about books that are banned. Faber has been asked about certain books and paragraphs. Faber was always thought as an old man
The characters in the book include of many people, both Greasers and Socs. To start off Ponyboy, is a fourteen year old boy that has a good build. Ponyboy is really close with his brother Soda, but doesn’t get along with Darry as well.
major conflict of this play that ends in tragedy. During Act I, the play progresses more in
Since the last time I have journaled, I have finished The Art of Racing in the Rain and started and finished the book Her: A Memoir. The Art of Racing in the Rain finished with the main character, Denny, finally getting custody of his daughter and ending the yearlong battle that he endured. Enzo dies at the end of the book, but the story alludes to him coming back as a child to visit Denny. Christa Parravani’s Her: A Memoir is a memoir written by Christa after her twin sister, Cara, dies. It shows the struggles the twins endured together throughout their lives, including an abusive father, Cara suffering a brutal rape and embarking on a path of drugs, depression, and overdose. The novel also shows how Christa reacted after Cara’s death, following in a similar path as her sister. The three merits I enjoyed most about this book were how extensive the
Overall I would recommend this book to others as it is full of twists and characters that you will grow to care about. I do recommend that you read, Legend, first as it will make a couple of big reveals make much more sense. This book is perfect for people my age and probably a couple years younger as it is a young adult novel but people older than me also might enjoy its political themes. Next on my reading list is of course, Champion, the last book in the trilogy by Marie Lu so I can finish
1. Characters: The characters in the book are Laura Jean, Kitty, Josh, Peter, and Margot. Margot is the oldest sister and kitty is the younger one out of the 3 girls. Peter is Laura Jeans fake boyfriend and Josh is Margot's ex-boyfriend.
The plot of the book begins with Jeremy Heere sitting in math class. In the same class are three of the most popular teenagers Christine Caniglia, (major character) which Jeremy has a crush on, Anne (minor character), and Jenna Rolan (minor
Peter Pan made a choice to ban anyone who grew older. Since Peter Pan made the decision to banish all of his followers who grew older, this caused the boys to grow disgust for Pan himself. Peter Pan made a terrible choice banishing all the boys to No Where Land where they would be shunned forever and called the Roarers. Peter Pan has the biggest problem in the story because on one adventure, Peter and his "League of Explorers" found the Jolly Rodger. As he and his league explored James Hook's uninhabited ship of 20+ years, Peter found and put on Hook's second best coat.

However, throughout the course of the play several Youngers’ dreams come into direct conflict with one another or even the family dynamic itself. Especially when it involves the life insurance policy check that is coming which could change all their lives. Which also becomes a main focal point for all the strife in the family.
