Students all over the country are being told they are not allowed to read certain books. Killing Mr. Griffin, a young adult novel, written by Lois Duncan, has been challenged many times. Parents and administrators have many reasons they believe students should not be able to read this book. The evidence provided to challenge this is not enough for me to lead to thinking this book should be banned. I do not think it goes against the age recommendation, which is thirteen and above.
In the book so far I have learned about a character named Susan. Susan is a quiet girl and in the future she wants to live by a lake and write stories. She also likes this guy that goes to her school. I figured out a little about her teacher Mr. Griffin. He never gives out any A’s no matter how hard or good an assignment is the highest they will get is a B. Mr. Griffin also ever expects later work no matter what the reason is. A guy named Jeff that is in the same class as Susan got really mad at Mr. Griffin for not expecting make up or late work. Jeff played basketball and he had a game the night before a big assignment was due. He wasn’t able to finish it in time, even though he should have done it before, and since Mr. Griffin doesn’t expect
For every teacher their selected honor student was called up to shoot a cake at them. With a trash bag and goggles, the teachers stood in place as their honor student got ready to shoot. Mrs. Kendall was the first to be shot at by her honor student, Savannah Burke. It was a good shot, but didn't hit Mrs. Kendall. Next was Mr. Mercier, whose honor student is Sarah Cloutier. There was still no hits when Mr. Magaw’s turn came up. Unfortunately Mr. Magaw’s honor student, Micah Okusko, wasn't present at the meeting, so Mrs. Poulin stepped in. The last honor student to be called up was Colby Gary, who was picked by Mr. Dalton. Mr. Dalton got cocky, making faces at Colby all the while thinking that Colby would miss him just like all the other teachers.

Ally smirked as the teacher walked in shouting about getting excited about class. Who would even be happy to be here? She thought, Especially not with a teacher who wears skinny jeans. Ally shuddered at the thought of it. “Dang it,” she whispered, glancing at Brennan to see if he heard. He didn’t, thankfully. Ally just sighed as she realized what the rest of her week in second period had become. A whole

Jack had English with Kyle, but not Sam. His English teacher, Mrs. Cooperwas probably his favorite teacher because of the fun way she told stories and taught lessons. She had a neat classroom which had all kinds of colors and posters in it. After about twenty minutes into class, Mrs. Cooper dismissed Jack and Kyle to go to the library to get a new book. As they walked down the hallway, they suddenly heard a loud alarm.
that is because they took a sheriff car and than hit the sheriff when they took it they could of snuck out of the widow instead of taking the car . As Brock Cole said on page 178 paragraph “The girl thought there might be reasons, they had done all of those things like stealing they’d taken a mans truck “ Brock Cole point is that in the sense that was happening was there was a helicopter and laura asked howie do you think they are looking for us and howie said “No’ why would they be looking for us and laura said because all of the bad things we done that we were not to post to do so that proves that did all of those thing without getting punished.Of
