Do you want to go to a college with good sports and good academics then you should go to Golden Gate University. The Golden Gate University is located in San Francisco. I chose to research this college because of there good academics.

Alma Delia Torres explored San Diego when she was 5 years old. She lived in Tijuana and was very excited to go to San Diego. Her parents brought her to many places, so she can learn about the many different cultures in the world. They all first went to San Diego, Ca and today she still remembers going there. Alma's parents showed her how to save money and how people from San Diego spoke and socialized differently than they did. Today Alma has traveled to Greece, Turkey, and many places.

The University of California, which is known as UC, is one of the largest and most successful university systems in the country. The University of California has 10 large campuses, so there are a total of 250,000 students, 21,000 faculty members, 145,000 staff members and almost two million living alumni. There are campuses in the cities of Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz. Six of the ten university campuses are members of the Association of American Universities (AAU). The University of California’s library system contains one of the largest collections of 34 million items. Every year, the State of California invests almost three billion dollars into the University of California system. The University of California has some of the country’s most advanced medical labs and centers. The UC Davis campus operates the University Airport that serves as air shuttle service and a public general aviation airport. The UC San Diego campus owns a seaport called the Nimitz Marine Facility. The University of California was originally founded in the late 1860s and opened their newest campus in 2005. Nine campuses enroll undergraduate and graduate students, but the UC San Francisco campus enrolls graduate medical and health science students.

Among the many decisions we make in life, perhaps the most impactful is selecting a college. With more than 3,000 four-year colleges to choose from (as of 2013), deciding on a single college is difficult. While many aspire to attend Ivy League schools, for their status, a brand-name college does not always equate to a quality education. Cal Poly is the optimal university for any student.
