Initially, I did not know how to feel about the story swapping assignment. I feared not being able to get eh assignment done on time. I also feared that my grandma would not cooperate with me. She likes to be difficult sometimes, even though we talked on the regular. I had to approach her as if it was a regular conversation. I know that being informal was a part of the directions, but I did not know if I should introduce the idea to her and say “Hey, granny can I interview you for my class”, or just go for it. I can benefit from interaction with older generations because those interactions allow insight on what I can do or change in my personal life. I was able to see life through her eyes. By the way, my grandmother is very fit, so she told
Thank you for sharing your post. I found it incredible enlightening to read how this assignment worked in a clinical setting with real clients. I enjoyed reviewing your check in questions as well as your choice to integrate a video, which I would assume is helpful for the visual learners and those new to breathing exercises. Through collectively sharing their positive coping mechanisms in response to anger, the participants are able to learn from each other. It is great that you were able to challenge the group to reflect on additional coping skills regularly utilized. It sounds to me that you were coming from a strengths perspective, encouraging them to identify their positive coping skills. This is especially important, because when

Most of us would not be where we are today without the help and support our elders. Because of their life experience, elders can pass down a lot of valuable information to us. However, we sometimes forget about all of the things our elders have done for us when we get older. Phyllis McCormack, who was a nurse, wrote a poem about an elderly man who touched her life.
Yes, I have been staff on a server called HGKits. HGKits was a server that was based on the McPvP's hunger game kits. I was Mod+ in the end when sadly I had to resign because the owner quit the server due to the lack of funds at the end. (My IGN on that server was Crummzyy). I have also been developer on a server called SparkzPvP but that server also went because the owner quit Minecraft. However I do not currently develop today since I have
I wish to become staff so I can improve the server and make it greater for players and staff. I'd like to see the serer at it's peak, so I'll try everyday as hard as I can to improve it for the better. Rule-breakers are a great crisis for every community in Minecraft. They destroy the fun for players who actually like to play. I plan to eliminate them swiftly so they can cause no harm to threaten this community; in any way at all. Helping the server is something I always wanted to do, I can do this by creating guidelines for players and staff members so they can gain more experience. I wish to bring joy to the community and make them smile. I want them to have the time of of there lives playing this server without any negative issues getting in the way. Many people are respectful on this server; however many are not. I wish to stop those disrespectful players so other people don't get upset or hurt. Generally, I think this server can improve and become the number 1 server. One day, I wish to see this server have more players than any other community in the minecraft world. However, I can only help to a certain extent as a member, that's why I want to become staff. So I can go far beyond my limits and help players as best as possible. Sometimes, there's no staff members on since they're busy with other things. When there's none on, there tends to be a lot of rule-breakers that like ruining the community for other players. I wish to stop them,

For this assignment, I had the opportunity to choose a heath care professional to shadow for the day. I choose to shadow an x-ray technologist at Spear Memorial Hospital. This assignment was very independent. I was responsible for reaching out to the individual I wanted to shadow, interviewing them, and writing them a thank you note for their time afterwards. I learned a lot about being an x-ray technologist. For example, some of their responsibilities include, doing daily quality checks for all their machines, patient orders, cross checking with other radiologists, patient exams, CEUs maintaining credits, and bringing and returning patients. I am punting this under the Independent and Responsible Learner category because I had to be very responsible

and Niesha completed her assignment last. When Niesha completes her assignments she often times receives a perfect score. Signs of learning disabilities may include, taking extended time to complete assignments and using additional effort in comparison the average students. It is possible Niesha has a learning disability. Although, I am not a medical professional and I cannot accurately diagnose learning disabilities. This experience taught me that through close observation, teacher could pick up on their students learning behavior patters. If all students had the same one-on-one attention they received at the lighthouse, then the amount of learning disabilities would be caught at a higher rate.

To conclude, old people need to motivated and encouraged to do what they want to do because an elder doing something, even just participating, gives them a sense of accomplishment which is better than sitting at home depressed. I am aware of the risks of physical injuries and internal damages that may occur but no one should give up on doing something before trying. These elders can inspire the younger generation at the end of the day, therfore; I think elderly people should be motivated in doing what they want to do.
The need to stay consistent with my students as far as Classroom Procedures are concerned is important. I customarily will have the agenda displayed so the student’s can write it down. Occasionally, I will have a free-composition assignment in order to take attendance. I will utilize interactive scratch pad so students can do assignments in the journal and in addition to take class notes. The incentive behind this is to manage all the assignments in one area so they are not looking all over for single sheets of paper. In the scratch pad, students can show their creativeness in outlining a cover page for every unit.
In particular, I not only grew more familiar with several seniors but I began to see the value of being with these seniors. Despite their aging bodies, these seniors remained encouraged to do whatever they loved doing, whether it be participating in tai chi, playing Crazy Eights or rummy, singing along to old classics, or simply socializing with one another. Such determination was rather inspiring for me to witness, seeing how not even age, canes, or walkers can necessarily stop them from enjoying life as much as they can. Certainly, I have gained a better understanding of the human elements of the people I serve.
