Phones and Tablets, they’re great devices and according to ‘StratageyAnalytics’ over 72% of the world owns at least one smart device in their home, this includes things such as phones, tablets, laptops and computers. You’d think all this technology would be put into great use, especially in schooling and it is, however it is not used as much as it could be in schooling, this generation of kids are lucky enough to be born into a generation where using smart devices such as listed above has become the norm for public and private, everyone everywhere uses them so why aren’t we using them as much in school?

Perhaps endorsing punishments for being off task on these, or ask the school to add a better website block to prevent students even being able to reach these websites in the first place. There are plenty of things the teachers are able to do to prevent this all happening so I’m honestly surprised that the school is still not taking full advantage of this amazing technology we are able to hold in our hands. This decision is very advantageous and could benefit the school greatly, maybe to start off with they could just try this idea out for a term or two and see how things change. If the devices do not make an impact, good or bad they could decide whether to continue it or not judging by the impact it makes.

The students education should be a teacher's priority and this will not only make it easier for the student to learn but it will also benefit the students in said teachers class, this makes it a win-win situation for both parties. I could guarantee that by adding this into the school the overall marks would go up, or down depending on the characteristics of each student attending. As I stated earlier it is not the technologies fault if a student is not willing to use it properly and to their best benefit, it is their own poor choice and they will eventually learn themselves. Even then though, the teachers should still be willing to help each student who faces this problem out, they are all entitled to receive
