Do you know what it takes to be a teen activist? Teen activism is young people, or teen or pre-teens helping to improve the community by finding solutions to large problems. It takes support, strong belief, courage, time and money, and most importantly, the strength to overcome obstacles and challenges to become a teen activist. Teen activists have to overcome past challenges, and overcome present challenges. Teen activists have past personal experience with whatever they stand for, which might have been a challenge, they use media to reach people because it can be challenging to reach everybody, and they create funds, charities, and programs to help overcome the world's problems. Teen activists overcome things such as their personal experiences with their topic. A piece of evidence to support this is with Malala Yousafzai, who speaks out for girls education. A piece of evidence to support this is in an interview between Malala Yousafzai and Jon Stewart, Jon Stewart mentioned www.malalafund.org, a website created by Malala Yousafzai, which is a website that has a fund to support child education. This shows that Malala Yousafzai created a fund to help the world. Another example of this is mentioned in the Reading Eagle article “Anti-bullying activist spreads message of kindness”, when it talked about the program WeStopHate that helps prevent bullying, and prevents suicide created by the anti-bullying teen activist, Emily Regal. This illustrates that she created a program to reach people about bullying awareness.
