What is a teen activist? A teen activist is a teenager who wants to help people or animals for a cause. What I think about all teen activists is that they all fight for what they believe in. They go to extensive lengths to help people to help us. They don't do this because they have to they do it because they want to do it. They don't care that the odds were against them or they have very little chance of succeeding. They do what they want and the do it right.They are like the voice of the people fighting up against poverty and all the other struggles in the world. Most activists go through a lot like Malala but I won't get to deep into that yet. They all have the courage to do what they do.

Many people got inspired to help his belief that everyone should have education rights. Another activist who gave speeches is Malala Yousafzai, to tell people that everybody(especially girls), should have education no matter his or her circumstances of life, genes, or religion. His willingness to do well inside and outside of school will lead him to his life goal of having a job. Fred Korematsu is a WW2 civil rights activist who worked hard to make a living in America and spent years fighting against the U.S government for other American’s of his ethnicity. His lifetime goal was finding justice for Japanese-Americans. The pair may be very different in their ambitions for life, but the two surprisingly share the traits of being outspoken and lifestyle.

Well, let me tell you what some of the other teens in this country do. They are either leading protest rallies, starting marches, or talking on interviews to tell the world what they believe in. Not your typical weekend, right? These amazing kids are called teen activists. They fight for the cause they believe in fiercely, whether it’s against animal cruelty, education issues, bullying, or child labor. Some of the teens have a dangerous life full of death threats as they pursue their cause, like Malala and Iqbal. Meanwhile, other like Faye Carey and Alex Lin don't risk their lives, but they still make a big difference in the world. However, nobody’s born with a cause to fight in. Teens become activists through different experiences. They either go through a personal struggle themselves, they see others around them struggle, or they read about the injustice.

Well do something that benefits the community. Three people who did this are Bianca V, Malala Yousafzai, and Faye Carey. This is how they started a fight for what they believe in.

Teen activists are kids who not only want to make a difference, but are brave enough to try. Teen activists are kids that do whatever they can to help the world. They are compassionate for those less fortunate, they befriend those who are in need of help, and they try to have more people to come and help. Teen activists all have one more thing in common to become a teen activist, either the activist has had personal struggles, seen someone or something have personal struggles, or they read an article.

Well Teen Activism is Teens from all around the world doing something that can make a good change to the world. These teens that are making a change can make the world better but, they have to be willing to give up a couple of things like personal time. Even know these activists lose personal time they gain help and support for there cause. Some examples of activists are: Faye Carey, Alex Lin, and Malala yousafzai. For example, Malala is constantly fighting for girls to have the right for education and for girls to be able to go to school. She is doing this because she wants to have the right to learn about things just like boys do. You might think that nothing would happen to a teenage girl who is fighting to go to school, but according to ABC News “She unfortunately got shot in the head on the way home from school one day by the Taliban, a terrorist group.” You would think she would give up but she didn’t she kept going and she kept fighting for her right. That's what makes her a very good teen activist.

All teen activists change the world. For example, Malala changes the world of education. According to the interview with jon stewart and ellen, her school shut down that’s when she started. She started fighting for education around the world. The taliban didn’t like Malala. She was attacked and shot in the face and was rushed to hospital in England. The Pakistani hospital could take good enough care of her. When she was shot she refused to die and survived. The taliban didn’t stop her from fighting for children’s education. As a results, that’s how one teen activist changed the world.

To start off, the first reason why all teen activists have different traits is that they are all optimistic. For example, Alex Lin is optimistic because he wants to make the world a better place. I know this is true because according to the article “Alex Lin Teen Activist” it said that he recycles computers around the U.S. Also another teen activist Faye Carey is optimistic

Can one teen really change the world and make it a better place? At least certain teens try and that’s why we call them teen activists. Teen activists fight for a cause that is important to them and other people in similar situations, or facing similar challenges, or simply seeing an opportunity for change. They work in very different ways and use different communication channels, such as; social media, newspapers, and interviews to reach their target audience.
