http://www.continuetolearn.uiowa.edu Physical Effects Child labor presents many fatal issues as well. Children in most cases will have to live with it for the rest of their lifes (same with mental effects). They can lose vital organs and their body can be in mutilated condition. Diseases can also be picked up along the way in some kinds of labour including child prostitution (STI), underground mines/welding causing respiratory diseases and lead poison etc. These children can also end up with illnesses that sometimes can not be treated. Which can end up resulting in their own death. Children rather than adults Children are usually prefered over adults for a couple of reasons: One, children can be more easily manipulated than adults. Two, they are more willing to do the work. But children are more susceptible to illness or disease rather than adults are. http://www.ilo.org/ipec/facts/WorstFormsofChildLabour/Hazardouschildlabour/lang--en/index.htm Wrapping It all up Currently across the globe many countries allow child labor to inhabit their country. Many organizations are fighting against this so that these children can get an education and live a safe and healthy life-style.
