During World War II there was many first time things that happened. The US made a very controversial decision. On August 6, 1945 we dropped the first ever Atomic Bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Shortly after the Atomic Bomb was dropped World War II ended on September 2, 1945. Many think that this was event was not needed or justified. I think that the dropping of the bomb was needed and that it was very much justified. The main reason I think that this decision was justified is because we gave the city of Hiroshima many warnings to surrender and evacuate the city. A few weeks before the dropping of the Bomb the US gave out thousands of leaflets saying that the Japanese need to evacuate the city of Hiroshima and surrounding areas. On December 7, 1941 the Japanese attacked the US at its most vulnerable spot without warning. Pearl Harbor. That is the main reason the US entered World War II. If you think that the attack on Pearl Harbor was justified then you should think that the Atomic Bomb was justified. The Japanese called it upon themselves when they decided to attack us.
